Advice for anyone in 2nd story OP's position. Vasectomies are a definite option, but make sure you clarify early on to prospective partners that having kids is not something you want in life at the moment and/or for the forseeable future and that if they do that is a dealbreaker to avoid future related conflicts and go your separate ways. Many forget that overreacting isnt something others get to decide for you if they show unwillingness to understand the full extent and intensity of the feelings causing the reaction.

Well, according the Op's siblings, she was never normal, just "masking" for the outside world.
