In the PNW, used nearly new Echos go for little over half price-- while clapped out clamshell Ranchers and Farmbosses are listed for near new prices. I love that slightly used $225 Timberwolf with a muffler mod and tune is a better saw than a $600 460 rancher or Stihl 311
Having run my dad's 460 rancher (that got a muffler mod while it was here) and my neighbors 311.. you are absolutely right. And the 620p that I settled on owning... smokes em.
I use my 4910 with the stock 20 inch bar as my limbing saw. And have cut a couple big trees with. It has never failed me. Good all around utility saw !!
My most precious saw was my father's 1985 Yamabiko Corp/ Echo twin opposed 66cc saw. The one I have was sold under the John Deere name and painted a yellow green color. No chain break old school stuff. It's in perfect condition. I keep it pristine and put it to use a few times a year. My pop's saw!
If you ever find any then the Echo EVL line of saws are really nice to run. They definitely don't have the performance to run with the modern stuff but they look/sound cool and feel nice and smooth to run.
Like Makitas this is a straight commercial grade saw line that aint have fill saws like home, farm etc which increases costs of saws for that maker. When i visit Makita, Echo, Zenoah they are all one grade saws which makes it easy to not waste time in shop comparing with others. It keeps dealer showroom less cluttered too
i just bought my first Echo CS 8000. its just few days old with me...new brand for us here in Fiji and hope its a good Saw.? i did some research before purchasing it and hope this is a real deal saw.😊😊
Outstanding set of Echos; covers many of your needs. Connoisseur?....very well. If you are itchin for a new 60cc saw. Amazpn has the Makita 6100 for $539.
I’m game for summer to be over so I can get back in the deep woods, between yellow jackets and snakes they own them woods 😂. Imma have to get more set up for next year this time.
@@novicelumberjack I’m a huge Toyota believer (Japan) so my gut said echo but then TH-cam university made it confusing. I trust you to be honest. We appreciate that.
It's an $800 saw in Europe. It would be a tough sell in the states for more than $400. Cost to build a quality small saw is nearly as much as a big one- a few pounds of material is the difference.
As much as I love my husqvarna saws , when it comes down to it I would sell them all , and keep my echos and jonsered 2172 , I have the 620p , and 7310p , and at some point here I’m gonna pick up a 4910 to replace the 501p that I gave my neighbor (because the only difference between the 501p and 4910 is cosmetics , they are the exact same saw but the 4910 is about 100 bucks less msrp) I would also keep the 592xp (if it ever comes in that is I ordered it in feb/march and now they’re saying that it’s not gonna ship until feb of 2023 ….oh well it’s worth the wait . Hey body I’d be happy to donate my Milwaukee saw to those people if they’re interested in it let me know as much as I love it I kinda wanna replace it with the new dewalt one or the double battery one they’re gonna be releasing next year
Wow,what a pile of....Echo saws.Maybe get the Turtle Wax out and polish some of those turds? I'm not trying to be a jerk, but Echo saws are the only thing you could leave beside a busy highway and nobody would stop and take it.

I thought all echo of that vintage was Kioritz
The cs6701 is the best you can get. Very rare and expensive.

Hey my brotha I really want a 4310 bad is there anyway you could help me or figure out how I can get one living in the USA in jesup Georgia.
Gotta find someone in Europe willing to buy one and ship it to you.next time I go, I can get one for you.
I own 10 saws and 5 of them are Echo's. An old 330evl, cs400, cs590, cs620, and cs7310. All have been great saws.
Definitely a respectable echo collection, spanning the most popular sizes👍🏻 love the display log! On the shindaiwa? Maby kioritz? Now it's yamabiko.
Very nice Echo collection buddy 👍👍. That 757 is on point, and seems like a very well built saw.
Well all I gotta say is I’m glad I subscribed. This channel is a keeper
Very nice!
Love the 4310 & 4910 ..

I've got echo saws, blower and weed Wacker. They are all excellent for what you pay they can't be beat
It's interesting to learn about other brands of power saws. Thank you.
I do like Japanese quality. And I like Japan too :-)

Once you get your hands on an old cs 067 you will get rid off your small and new echo junk saws.
I am looking at a old kioritz echo 60z. Just wondering what you think
Bodie how much to port and tune a 4910 I just grabbed up brand new, also wut you charge me to do up my heavy ass Timberwolf
$400 each.
Do you free hand rakers when sharpening chain ?
Do you really need rakers ?
I run short rakers because i dont know any better

Great collection! I do believe this
sh!t is addictive! 👍🆙BigGuy
Yamabiko owns echo and shindaiwa , and if I can get my hands on the shindaiwa version of the 7310 I’ll be happy as a pig in muck
Get a 3510 and port it! Id love to see that… really want one to be my 16” workhorse
Husky 135 mk 2 or echo 4510? Quick! 😂
Dolar for dollar, no one can compete with Echo. The Husky 135 is junk. Echo literally does not make ANY junk. Go with Echo.
@@novicelumberjack dude you’re the man! Thank you! Now should I 3410 or 4310 worth the extra?

Pay it forward bro! 👍
You gotta get your hands on the 680
I have a echo cs285evl, cs320evl, cs3000, cs362tes, cs4600, cs5500, cs8000
There is the echo 1201 but i don't know where is sell
why doint we get the 4310 here in the states ?
The market for expensive 40cc class professional saws is too small. Look up MS 241 & 543XP success as a reference.

gather all the garbage in the same place (echo)

No EVL, No Echo Colletion
Take it to buckinstock
How can I find out more about Buckinstock? Where and when is it?
He talks about it on his channel all the time and it’s prolly on his webpage
So I looked into it. Seems like there is no Buckin' Stock this year. He will be at the Paul Bunyan show in Ohio.
thanks for the video. In my opinion, the Shindaiwa 757 is THE ugliest saw I've ever seen.

You meant Kioritz Corp./Echo. Yamabiko Corp. came into existence in 2008 from the merger between Kioritz and Shindaiwa.
Echo 600 EVL. That twin cylinder saw is definitely the one to get if you like older Echos.
John Deere 66SV = Echo CST-610-EVL
Wow that's the holy grail of saws. I would love to have one here in New Zealand.
