I started collected about 2 years ago, starting with english and pretty much priced out with japanese. Now that japanese is very affordable and whenever you open it, you pretty much get a portion of the box you paid for, this excites me. Now I don't really buy more english and pretty much wanted my investment pieces gone and convert to japanese. I have so much faith in japanese that the growth will be exponential once it recovers.

Lol, I had the same feelings wrt ETBs and tins and other boxes. I cleared out most of my tins in the last month. Mostly just buying a couple booster boxes to hold onto for a while, and also some 3-pack blisters.
Wrt personal collection, I'm still trying to finish Silver Tempest, but doubt I'll be able to get that Lugia V without buying it at an event or something. I also like the Trainer Gallery sets, will probably collect more TEF/TWM, and I am looking forward to some of the future sets.
And I'll most likely focus my 151 efforts on Japanese cards.

Great video! I got back into collecting back in March, spent a bunch of money, but have quickly adapted to the booster box mentality. I'm always looking for the right advice to follow to help minimize financial mistakes while collecting. I just wish my impulses would stop!😂
