I would not recommend this for a complete beginner to FPV. Joshua bardwell showed that it breaks easily. And FPV is very hard to fly. So crashing (which you will do) will probably break it, and not being easily repairable means you have to wait for it to be repaired, so less time to practice. Honestly i dont see much use for this except for special cases. Most people should simply buy a small (less than 100g) drone for trying FPV and from there move forward.
I fly traditional FPV, and while it is ridiculous fun, I'm not going to lie, the entry / learning curve is up there. Glad to see DJI is making it easier for anyone to experience the thrill of FPV. Hope you enjoy flying, just please do so responsibly, don't get our hobby banned by doing something stupid. Now please excuse me, I'ma go build another drone 😁

*Just got the FPV, Thought it would super hard to fly. I was extremely hesitant until I lifted it off the ground.. I love DJI FOR THIS REASON, they are extremely easy to control. So far happy with it.

It gets worse. The battery lasts 3-5 minutes with proper freestyle.
The wheel was not reinvented.
And 2 extra batteries with a hub are just... $300. I would consider their products if they didn't want to own the battery monopoly.

This looks pretty epic as a high performance drone with a pretty nice camera.
Fanfreakingtastic! This old bird cannot wait to save up enuf pennies to fly one of these wild birds! When the used Dji Phantom I bought landed on my doorstep it was like opening the door to a dream I've had since childhood.. the path to being able to fly. With the introduction of FPV you are no longer the observer, watching a craft fly.. It's You! You are no longer are stuck depending on buttons n joysticks but motions of head n hand direct your flight, You choose. You're not watching a flying craft, you are the flying craft from the perspective of the bird!
If you've ever longed to pilot a real word aircraft or dreamed of being a bird, watch a few of these videos. You will know pretty quick by the racing of your pulse is this is for you or not! Hopefully one day I will join you in the skies where broken bodies have no bearing on flying
