I did a Senior Thesis a few years ago where I discussed how drones would be the future. I am very happy to see that that future is already here.

We use 3 different DJI drone like M2Pro, M2Zoom and M2EA for audiovisual and inspections to short distance and areas that are difficult to access, due to its size and different cameras. Now, with the DJI M30 we will be able to cover more extension in a single flight and collect a multitude of data with one camera - thermal, zoom and visual imagery and we will be able to cover different types of works with only one drone.🏅Congratulation DJI for your innovation and development 🏅Greetings from Spain.

I used to be a forest firefighter... This drone would have changed everything... Wow.
Recommendation: get professional equipment. There are so many real powerful tools on the market. They don't have fancy advertisements, but are worth the money.
Honestly thought this was a throwback Skyrim joke at first.

This thing can save so many lives when used in rescue missions
Helicopters already serve that role and have much longer flight times. I can imagine these things will be incredibly useful for inspections, however.
@@peterparker1724 not if they do automatic drone missions to carpet cover areas with automatic routes and AI heat signature capturing, it will take less time and less fuel and less human error in rescuing

1. Helicopters can also have thermal imaging
2. How much ground can one of these drones cover vs a helicopter?
3. Once the person is found, they’d likely need to use a helicopter or other vehicle to collect them anyway
I understand that there are some search-and rescue benefits to these drones, but I really don’t see how they would be a practical replacement to current methods. Anyway, I’m not an expert so it really doesn’t matter what I think. Maybe these will turn out to be useful for rescue missions, only time will tell

So cool to see DJI expanding their useage design - first the insane FPV/racing/cinematography hybrid, and now something completely different for rugged jobs like search and rescue, emergency response, construction, etc. Awesome!!!

I bought the very first generation DJI Phantom drone (back then we called them quadcopters), which didn't even come with a camera! I had to mount my GoPro on it, and then open up the drone and solder in a video transmitter so I could get a grainy low resolution image on a little monitor that I jerry-rigged onto the controller. Absolutely mind-boggling how far drone technology has progressed in such a short time.
Admittedly, that looks like the future.
This is what drones were meant to be. Truly innovative and awesome that it's packaged in such a small factor

I’m praying our department will get a grant approved to get one of these for search and rescue. We have a mavic 2 enterprise now but it’s not without its limitations.

Super drone from DJI. This ground-to-cloud feature will be key component for collaborative Search and Rescue mission. The autonomous charging base station (dot) also will be required for really remote area. Super

@@DTFFP I feel you. Same with me with mavic mini. Just a showpiece now, and we had to pay about double the actual price in our coubtry. The drone looses signal too often even in wifi free environments. Lost my trust in dji. Ads are just deceptions.

As an airplane mechanical engineer and drone pilot i can say that those engine positioning seems to me quite impressive, those angles intrigued me. Would like to know more about it.
What do you mean? They are all on the same plane as in a traditional drone. The back ones just push instead of pull, so that they can have the rear armes fold above the front arms when folded
they are positioned like that so it can be folded.
That felt like a trailer to a real banger movie, well done.

OK that is super impressive. I bought the first DJI Phantom and it was a technical marvel back then but this is just different level.
As someone that finds themselves in more active disasters than FEMA it would be an awesome tool to have. If you ever want it properly tested, I can do it.

Impressive! This drone is of another level! I have no words to describe this! Just a thought btw, DJI just showed here how capable they are of producing too powerful drones! It has not been very obvious to me until now!
20 years ago in the army we had drones capable of alot if this but much smaller and extremely quiet, for recon in middle east cities. Usually takes around that long for the tech to be available to the public.

Love the redundancy of the flight system. This can lose one rotor/prop and still land using the three remaining props.

Though there is a less chance of the other two to be out this year, I hope that they will be launched either the next year or after that!
