The only reason it got such a bad rap was because people were expecting it to be like all the slim carbon fiber FPV drones but thats so incorrect and misplaced. This thing was in a class of its own it fits in between multiple classes and does a reasonably good job (not excellent, it wasn't supposed to) in each one. But if you were only interested in one style of flying then no it wouldn't be for you. And shit, 92 mph? come on, thats rippin. Frickin thing is like a flying blender who's batteries run off of rice, saki and a tigers bone liquor.

That distance is what had me sold when I bought mine last year:) my next build is going to have the 03 air unit. I feel like dji has the best range, they just need better frames
@gustavflomunch5572 as long as you don't have any obstructions between you and your remote and goggles it shouldn't be a problem. (Your have to stay high) also if there is any radio wave interference that can be a problem. And also be sure that your antennas on goggles are snug before you turn them on or you have a chance of frying them through short circuit. Not sure if your having rc connection problems or video so it's hard to say. I would also check all the connections:) hope you figure it out:)
@r4ymaster 3 miles across a place called 3 mile lake here in louisiana(usa) and still have a live hd video feed is good enough for me. I mean how much farther are you trying to go?
awesome flight/ view but honestly without wanting to sound too pedantic you probably should have flown adjacent the track when heading towards the oncoming train to reduce the chance of damage if you lost connection, while the drone is not super heavy it would still likely crack the windscreen at those combined speeds and scare the driver

wow just wow I have so many questions, 1 how is your battery lasting so long, 2 also what are your rate settings? alot of the maneuvers you did my drone loses power and struggles to get out of a flip and the motors will stall :(
I think you're just used to FPV drone batteries which last 5 minutes or so. The DJI product batteries last over 30 minutes and the extended power batteries even longer
@@chrisgarret3285 Mavic's does give more than 30 minutes. But the DJI FPV gives you 6-8 mins of flight in Manual mode. And if you consider that it's carrying an Osmo Action 2.... that's why I'm asking about battery performance.
@@afrooghost DJI notes flight time as 20 minutes for this model (looking on it on their site as we speak). I suppose it could be less in this kind of flying but he flew for less than 8 minutes.
@@chrisgarret3285 Yes, the 20 minute promise is "measured" in Normal/Sport mode flights, and in ideal conditions (no strong winds for example). In Manual mode, that time decreases considerably. In many other videos here on TH-cam, you can check it out n_n

Я у них в инсте спрашивал, в Россию они товар не отправляют. У меня тоже патчи X-Air 2, но дальности у них такой нет, хотя они и стоят нифига не дёшево. А хотелось бы тоже летать подальше. Вообще эта фирма производит много разных патчей, антенн дальнобойных именно для очков. Но жаль, что нам они не доступны. Хотелось бы потестить
@@alexjohn8344 да хотя бы просто определиться что за модель. Еще сильно влияет размещение антенн на дроне. Тут используется DJI дрон, а у меня Unit. Иногда просто немного неудачное расположение сразу же губит всю дальность. И мы видим картинку с внешней камеры а не его картинку с очков. Может там уже все в квадратах было
@@Dmitry8822 у него модель O.R.T. Digieyes V2 11 dB Dual - Band Antenna. У меня GepRc Mark5 HD, антенна не стоковая, а вынесена наверх, удлинённая. Но всё равно видеосигнал теряется бывает. На пару километров в прямой видимости иногда получается улететь

No, dji has the lowest range because its hd video if you would fly with analog you would get far superior ranges
