- Hey everyone, this is a new video series I'll be doing. It's about some of my favorite mecha anime, it consists only of the best scenes from each series. It's more of an compilation of scenes, with some very (un)professional editing. More Episodes will be coming soon.
I thought that Shin Getter Robo would be fitting for a first episode since many people love it and also many haven't seen it yet, so it's good for both I guess.

What a fucking badass series, absolutely epic! I just finished watching it yesterday, and I feel like watching it again this week!
Nagare Ryoma, the definition of hot blooded protagonist. So bad-ass , so cool 😎
For those asking about the ending: it's very common in getter stories to talk about multi universes. At the end we see all kinds of getter teams fighting, and ryoma and his team decide to join the fight since their earth is now saved.
not quite, the ending just sho that the story of this show is one of many, all of wich end up with the birth of Getter Emperor, and the demise of the universe at his hand, the "main" story, the one shown in the manga, is the one in wich Ryoma tries to avoid this chain of events, and prevent the birth of Getter Emperor, at least i think this is here the manga was getting at, if it wasn't discontinued. Of course this is just my personal interpretation.
the worst problem of the whole multiverse in getter its the emperor... kinda tragic u.u
@@arx3516 While Ryoma does try to stop the formation of Getter Emperor, he pilots Shin Getter one last time and crashes into Mars. In Getter Arc (the last manga by Ken Ishikawa) showed Shin Dragon rupturing from the Earth as the Getter arc was about to be destroyed. Eventually no matter what Getter Emperor will be born. In the Getter anthology mini series there are some chapters showcasing more about what the emperor is and it's purpose.
Well I kinda wish the original Getter Robo had more screen time on this show.

how bout getter devolution. there are two ryomas in that manga. ryoma from virtual world(the main character) and ryoma from real(?) world. at the ending, it is shown that VR ryoma got sucked into black hole and got reborn as Ryoma from the first getter manga. and how about the real world ryoma? is he the same ryoma as ryoma from previous mangas?

Than you'll definitely like Dai Guard it's basically the Anti-Evangelion where instead of realistic portrayal(if you would call it that) of a character in a mecha series while having the usual tropes on the Mech, the Mech is portrayed realistically while the characters are the usual tropes

Damn things move far too quickly. There's no sense of weight to them. Thanks to the square cube law, you're talking about mecha that would weigh hundreds of tons. The old Getter Robo G series did it far better and more believably. This is just too floaty and flashy.
