Since their attempt to conquer this universe was unsuccessful, the Invaders just decided to tear a hole in it and be done with it. The Getter team went into the hole, and now they're somewhere beyond space and time, eternally fighting the Invaders alongside all their other selves from parallel universes.

I think what happened here was similar to what happened in the Shin Getter Robo/Getter Robo Arc manga. A villain from the future opens a hole into the past to eliminate the Getter at their weakest before it can evolve into Getter Emperor. In order to prevent this, the old Getter team traveled through the hole into the future with a Shine Spark while leaving the Getter team in Shin Dragon behind so that they can continue the legacy.
@@thepronoob4039 Actually based on what happens, I think full Invader Forces are just La Gooth from Kyomu Senki Miroku, and they just went to fight that.

Well, the Shin Shinespark did sequence break the final boss here. It's like they skipped the dungeon part and went straight to the boss so, yeah... Shin Shinespark for Samus in Prime 4 please!
kirby uses the giga drill breaker so like a final cutscene, resident evil style, of samus like chasing the final boss who is running into space by using her shin shine spark would be epic.
imagine her flying without a ship into the damaged boss through space and blowing it up from the inside.
Samus is clearly the fourth pilot for Shin Getter. She just keeps getting sidetracked by the Federation's bullshit.

I was dissapointed that Shin Getter never transcended life and evolution and melded/ate everything
But this is good too, though I don't think its a getter valhalla but more like its the future (Getter ARC style) and they were waiting on the Getter team from the past so they could form the emperor and curbstomp the aliens.

Getter Emperor is 3 HUGE GETTER BATTLESHIP MACHINES that forms into a HUGE AS FUCK GETTER ROBOT. It makes it first appearance in the Shin Getter Robo Manga, where it curb-stomped the bug-eyed aliens to extinction.
First of all I've been knowing what shine spark is. Watched getter robo on vhs tapes when I was little. Notice how this was from 2 years ago, and I've caught up with Getter lore
I think Emperor is piloted by a Ryouma at some point and endless clones of Musashi at another. Details on Emperor are sketchy, probably because Ishikawa died.

I've watched this series several times and the shin shine spark always confuses me. Did they die or transfer to another dimension where they fight along side alternate versions of themselves? If they did die, that puts me in a very tough place- cuz it's truly a shame to see them go, but it's also a very courageous sacrifice for them to make. Best SR series I've ever seen. ^_^

it's kind of a nexus where they meet other versions of the Getter Team, including the Neo Getter Team, the original Getter Team and the Super Robot Wars version of the Shin Getter Team (who return to the game soon after).

Let's basically say a combination of both. Fans term this Getter Valhalla, where Getter Teams across all continuities basically fight endlessly against infinitely respawning Invaders which are basically enemies Getter killed across said continuities. Any Getter pilot still alive doesn't need to suffer this fate, but some pilots can leave Valhalla for a very, very short period of time before getting forced back into that hell.
Well... In the Getter Robo Go manga (on which Armageddon is very loosely based) the pilots die being absorbed by the Getter. They literally stop existing physically, however their souls/minds live within Getter rays, they find each other there etc. And they can return as Getter Ghosts (scene with Michiru's and Musashi's ghosts in Armageddon refer to that)
Maybe the most important thing is which pilots die in the manga - and they aren't just the original trio...

Hayato murder the professor because he is scared, insecurity and understand too much, the professor tell him about the invader problem scares Hayato and review few secret about Shin Getter Robo, therefore, the blame game begin on Ryuma and arrest the hothead in prison. I am just telling the former director will by guess, we love this robot, best combine robot in history, no feeling of hate.

As for Evangelion. Its probably so much of a deconstruction that, outside of an SRW game, the "Super Robot Valhalla" can not actually reach that reality. That would be my theory

Well, Ideon is supposedly the universe before Gundam UC (as in, the universe that replaced Ideon was UC Gundam... and Judau from ZZ is a reincarnation of Cosmo, wtf), so maybe the problem there is that it was a universe behind.

@@primusvsunicron1 I think there is only a handful of realities with the emperor if not the only, so yes. If those enemies are from void wars, then fighting them was the true purpose of getter ray, evolution is just a means to an end and the all consuming emperor is the result.

Given the situation with the manga, Arc anime's team has done their best to make the story complete without changing the last panels in the manga

...which, when combined with the fact that the planned sequel to GaoGaiGar FINAL (and Bettermen) would have brought back Genesic GaoGaiGar (possibly as the VILLAIN, however that would work), means that in times of need, they can GET OUT. Think about that. If a mecha series was in trouble, they can GO OUT AND KICK ASS. (one can only imagine they didn't feel like helping Ideon or Evangelion)
