Just got my stand yesterday and expecting my DD Pro wheel today. Those metal parts are a lot chunkier than I expected. I think it's thicker metal than my car has! Great quality for the price.
@@joshuadelellis852 for me was money well spent had a wheel stand for my g29 I tried using wasn’t suitable also tried on my titan secretlab table again not good This thing is solid and stable looks good have no negatives to say Hope this helps
Im going to replace my current stand with this ws 2.0 pretty soon my moza wheel base is far to powerful for or my current one and tired of rolling backwards when i brake so annoying this is probably the best stand you can't buy the next st we p would be a si rig cockpit whatever you wanna call it and when im ready to do that i can buy the seat portion i can later on down the road
Great information! I just ordered one of these to go with my Fanatec GT DD Pro with 8nm boost kit, so I was taking a gamble on the stand being able to handle it. Sounds like from your experience mid-level DD wheels should be fine on the NLR wheelstand 2.0.
how did it go? I just ordered one as well and I'm thinking of buying the boost kit with my Fanatec DD sometime in the future. (upgrading from a G29 so we'll see how it goes
@@Mutex_Lock I'm actually still waiting on my pedals and wheel😅. Wheel stand is here, I just haven't put it together yet. Fanatec sent me an e-mail saying I should expect the order to be shipped around April 7th so I'm still a few weeks out.
@@Mutex_Lock Wheel and Pedals are great, ended up ordering the CSL load kit for the brake upgrade, as well as the CSL Pedal Kit (metal faces). Wheel torque provides a decent amount of 'road feel' in-game. The Wheelstand 2.0 is more than sturdy enough to handle the wheelbase with the boost kit upgrade. Feels super planted. Only thing I would change is I'm considering upgrading to Fanatec's inverted V3 pedal set, but it's like $600 or so. Since I just got these I'm going to get my money's worth out of them and use them for at least a year haha. How you liking your setup?
@@joshuadelellis852 I did get the load cell as well as metal pedal upgrades too. It works great with the stand. The stand is quite heavy so it’s able to handle both the torque from the wheel as well as jamming on the brake pedals pretty hard. Just make sure that your chair grips the stand’s wheel tray tightly enough. I use a fairly heavy office chair so it’s quite stable for me.
Hi there, this video was very useful for me man, but can you tell me how heavy it is please if you can tell me how much does the package weight? I'm interested into ordering one.
The only thing that prevents me from getting the V2 over the dd is the fact that the shifter plate is much smaller. Id like to put 2 tss handbrakes on there, and it doesnt seem like it would fit.
Hi thanks for the video, is the weight of the stand to much. I would be using DD 5nm motor with 2 pedal setup. I need my desk for work everyday. So I wondering is this to heavy for that. Thanx
@@matt51 Thanks! Another question if you dont mind... I travel a lot so I want to carry with me a "portable" setup. The box you show in the video is almost the size limit for oversize baggage in most airliners. First question is if a normal chair could handle the use of a +60kg loadcell pressure and the second one is if mounting and disassemble this stand every 2-3 days would be too much... Thanks!
@@matt51 thanks for the awesome video! Is your CSL elite pedal with Load cell? I have recently got the new CSL loadcell pedal so I wonder if the castor cradle of this stand is good enough to stop my chair moving backwards. I have a GT Omega gaming chair on carpet. Thanks mate!!

iv just preordered csl dd and looking at this stand and v3s, i mainly want to do drifting with a deepdish wheel though, would u say the wheel is too close to you? im 5'7 not sure if thatd make a diff

Shifter on the left is not European at all. In most of the countries, people drive on the right side of the road, seat on left therefore shifter at the right hand of the driver. Main exceptions : United Kingdom and Australia (where NLR is based). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Left-_and_right-hand_traffic#/media/File:Countries_driving_on_the_left_or_right.svg Most of the european stand users will do the mirror build ;)
2.0 is $50 less, and comes with the cradle if you are going to use a rolling chair. Just like the original wheel stand DD, it can be upgraded to a full cockpit setup with their GT Seat add-on
Just got my CSL DD and am 99.9 percent sure, this will be my base of choice. Thanks for posting.
Has your CSL DD arrived yet?
"european side". Bro in europe we use the same as in the US. The british are the ones using it on the left and they are not part of EU anymore
