    great review, Matt! I personally like the color view of the grass through the Geoshield C2. Lexen wasn't too bad, but I did see the haze you were talking about and that was probably what cause the grass to look a lighter green than when you looked at it through the Geoshield. Watching your videos has pretty much sold me on wanting to use Geoshield, even before watching this, so this review only reinforced what I was already leaning towards! Thanks for the comparison review, Matt!

    I've been doing window tinting for a long time. 2 years ago I tried lexen. a year ago geoshield. my favorite Lexen. lexen has cheaper and more expensive lines, but for some reason they always compare cheap ones. and I'll tell you that lexen is in the same line with brands such as llumar xpel and 3M

      I agree I've been us8ng lexan Nano Carbon & Nano Ceramic films in my business & have not had 1 complaint in over 5 years. And in the nano carbon there isn't any real low angel haze it's only in this cheaper carbon lexan film that he used.

    @Tintstuff What would you choose between.... Carbon for $220 or Ceramic for $400? Purely for aesthetics. I’m in Canada and my car is always in a parkade so heat reduction doesn’t matter.

    • @DetroitTintStudio
      @DetroitTintStudio  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      on the outside they will look identical, look at a sample of both films tho because on the inside you will see a slight difference in hue but probably not enough to come near justifying a price difference. heat rejection is really the only benefit

    3m crystalline tint is a life saver when it comes to heat in summer and keepimg heat in doing winter time. Yes its expensive and I thought it was over rated for the price but when I got my 2020 ford I wanted to protect the leather and keep heat out. When I got it I sat in the sun 🌞 and didn't feel no heat at all didnt even use AC 🙃.... in some things you pay for what you get and tint is one of them.

    I get the part that geoshield is a better more expensive film, lexen / tint x isn't a bad film it's it's just not the film that Detroit studios wants to use for his type customer base.. That's 100% fine but for the video it's kinda bias like you said from the git go cause you are already using the film for you company the second part is that you cut the film in half and left the half of the geoshield that's already baked on the window and did a retint with the lexen which will have some more has from it still drying unless you showed it like 2 maybe 3 days later... Everyone has there type of film they like for their business and can be bias to other brands cause of the fact they like what they like don't get me wrongnim the same way with car audio I love dd audio and was bias to sundown audio but sundown have a wonderful product and is competitive my point is the type of business base your are building the price your wanting to charge reflects your tint you would charge 600 for a lexen as you would for your geoshield unless you gonna make a 89% or more profit.
