I re applied again 04/23/2021 Another MVR check again 06/02/2021 Got Cond. job offer 06/03/2021 and NACI background same day Then I guess I wait for Re-do fingerprints schedule...pray for me to get foot in! Yes that's normal. I had to get my fingerprint done in another state from where I will be working as well. I think they send you to whatever "branch" for your area.

Hey, So quick question. I start the 9 day RAC training/orientation monday. Its like an hour and half away from my house🥴 They say the first two days is watching videos and getting sworn in but Will I be at that same location the entire 9 days for shadow training & learning how to drive the mail truck or will I switch to my actual work site for the remaining days?
For me, it was more of an info session with 2 other prospective employees and then if we decided we still wanted the job, we fingerprinted at the end. It was a little over an hour since the postmaster was explaining 3 different positions

@@1127janice Oh ok, I'm sorry. I'm not sure if they contacted any of my references. I used former co-workers and a doctor I worked with who was sort like my boss and none of them said USPS contacted them. I doubt they actually check. They may check to see if you actually worked at your previous jobs because it's a government job so I wouldn't put it past them. However, I highly doubt they contact anyone

I’m sure you’ll be ok. It’s a lot trying to keep up with this type of hiring process. Email this....and...email that 😂 I’m not sure if my email to them made a difference but they ended up emailing me w the fingerprint details. Just contact whoever on your on your last email and see what they say. Good luck with everything! 😊

I called the post office where I want to work and they keep telling me they’re working on the fingerprint list but still haven’t seen an email or heard from them and I contacted them twice telling me the same thing. I am getting worried. How long did it take you to received your background check results and the email for fingerprint?
I think it took about two weeks for me to get a response. I emailed someone also and she basically told me to chill out 😩😂. Try and be patient. Hopefully they’ll get back to you soon! 😊
After you accepted a job to you change your mind and accept another one closer to home. Thats my situation now. Accepted one 45 min away but got a offer for one 10 min away. Called the 2nd place to ask what to do but didn't get anything clear really. I ended up accepting the 2nd one but now it's the weekend so I'm worried I messed it up
I had to decline the job I already accepted then go back and accept the new one. Everything still went smoothly. However, everyone’s process can be a little different. I would just email the person on the offer letter. Hopefully u will receive an email about orientation or fingerprints next. It took just a little while to hear about orientation for me. Two week to a month. If they hiring insanely will be quick but due to covid, it going slowly. Be patient. Post office are slow. I am already in their system so it will be quick for me.

I'm thinking it could be that the position filled already or it's just a longer process for that position. Just dont be a nimrod. Wear business casual. Its not that hard. However, during my "orientation" people were late, inappropriately dressed, and came without the required materials. None of it seemed to matter.
