I have some questions:
1. I’ve been rejected from about 50 interviews. (In the last one they found the excuse that I could have given more examples. There must have been 20 to 30 perfectly given interviews with no feedback at all. The feedback I got from a lot of them is that they went for another candidate).
2. Before the pandemic it only took around 4 interviews to secure a new role
3. I went to a top business school and have half a decade of experience working for blue chip companies
4. *I’ve been given the advice by some corporate operatives that I could still somehow secure a role at a top company even if I’ve been unemployed for half a dozen years*
*Is it discrimination? Is it bias because there is money involved? I would just like to know what is going on as I’m being forced to retire early abroad/take a career break in the summer*

If people are not hiring you, there is something wrong with your interview strategy. Look at yourself and analyse how THEY see you. Make changes and try again
Hi Richard, I do not have words to thank you for all your supports and interviews tips. In 2020 I have failed two jobs interviews and got frustrated to not get the opportunities. After having seen your videos, studied and practiced them I passed my interview straight away. Now in 2023 I came to your videos again mainly this one. I have listened all your tips, conversation and so on, put them in my mind and went to interview yesterday and I passed. The interviewer just say to me I love your communication skills. And I said to her: I am thanked to Richard M. He is the best. And She said I know him because I have passed my job via him as well.

So, I had a job interview last week for a job I've got zero experience but was passionate about. It was actually my second time applying as the first time I completely bummed the interview and was unsuccessful. I spent a couple of days watching your videos, taking notes, making sure i was confident in my answers and I got a call yesterday with an offer for the job! Just an update…following Richard’s videos and ordering his program has made me so knowledgeable. I landed my dream job in November 2023 with the federal government. I’m still in lala land. Out of 15 applicants being interviewed only 2 were selected, one being myself. Richard you are truly living in your life’s purpose, thank you 🙏🏾

This is going to be a long comment so sorry in advance but I just need everyone to know how amazing this video is ☺ I am someone who has always struggled with job interviews. I got so incredibly nervous, freeze up, forget what to say but after discovering this channel it has changed all that. Once I knew I had a job interview coming up, I watched this mock interview on REPEAT on the days leading up to it, it helped me structure my answers properly and clearly and really helped with how I deliver my answers. I woke up on the day of my interview calm, confident and READY to walk in there and DO IT. I was told a few days ago that I GOT THE JOB 💪If you're someone who has had repeated "Nos" after interviews I know how horrible that feeling is and it can be the hardest thing ever to pick yourself up and try again. YOU CAN DO IT. Just commiting time into practising/preparing when you get the "Yes" it's the best feeling ever. Watch as much of this channel as you can and it will work, I promise! 😃

Hi everyone , Yesterday as i was preparing for my interview which took place today at 11:00am , i came across this video , i watched it , took notes , modified my answers , i spend 2 hours yesterday ( play, pause, rewind and fast forward) , i woke up this morning and i prepared for an hour then i drove to the venue , all the questions that were asked there were the questions that are here and for the 1st time i was calm and collected , my dress code was perfect . i can proudly say i did well today even though i do not know the outcomes yet but i am confident. They interviewed 7 people for the position and I ended up getting it despite being the youngest and least experienced (I saw all of the other candidates while waiting). Selling myself in a confident and humble manner mattered more than being experienced.

RIchard McMunn, youre the man! I have always been pretty good at interviewing, but I relied heavily on great rapport building and charisma. Your channel helped fill in the gaps that I was lacking. For example, you really helped me knock my 30-60-90 day plan out of the park, and polish my answers to questions like "what are my greatest weaknesses?" Your videos literally walked successfully through a 5- interview hiring process and I am now an Account Manager for a medical device company that I've had my eyes on for while now! So THANKS!!!

Honestly, you made everything so simple and helped me piece everything together. I passed the hardest interview I've had in my career, it was a group interview, admin assessment. 3 people got to final round which was an actual interview. Yesterday they sent me an e-mail saying I was one of the last 2. They just called me today to offer the position!. It is the company I would like to be with until I am retired hopefully. I'm lost for words. I've never seen interview questions answered so well. These are pretty much everything a company will truly asked. I've been asked majority of these questions and I'm pretty sure I didn't answer them as well as he did, but I know one thing for sure now that I will be a lot more stronger on all my interviews moving forward. This is theatre, not the actual job. Plenty of jobs require actual skill, not just the ability to socially manipulate. If anything, confidence usually negatively correlates with competence.
We still don't know what he does though.

There are so many career coaches and so much advice floating around that I just end up giving a hot mess of an interview. Besides, I've noticed that Americans tend to give the advice of making your answers very specific, and giving loads of proof as stories. I've tried doing that and giving so much information just makes me sound scattered and its harder to convince the interviewer. Richards answers are very well articulated and concise, he just hits the nail on the head! I like his content so much because even if you don't have great accomplishments or stories, you can always use his brilliant answers to convince the employer.

I get nervous and start talking EXTRA fast and random stuff. I had an interview today, they asked me a hard question that i couldnt get straight away and after talking nonsense for awhile, i stopped and i was legit confused what i was trying to say lmao. I went in circles till i resolved to nothing
Its funny how the interviewers tells us its just an informal interview but then they throw you with formal questions, yes i love that.

Another tip is do not try to memorize what he is saying, just take key ideas and answers and combine them with your own ideas and experience. Because if you try to say exactly what he's saying, you can forget some part in the interview

Hello Richard, about 3 weeks ago I was jobless, living with my parents - and now 2 of the most wanted companies (IT and Airlines) have laid offers for me - and in part I owe it to you; I have prepared incessantly using your Q&A formulas. Your energy and confidence are mind blowing, I watched your videos over and over again working to build the same in my character.
Thank you for the bottom of my heart, God bless you, you are the superstar for me.
For those who struggle to land an interview, please consider:
- CV makeover, I have changed mine from 2 pages to 1 golden page- I finally get it that the recruiters use bots or they just take
3 - 6 seconds to scan and make an impression of your CV going to the YES or NO tray. If you read your CV and you don't have that feeling, just jump and do a makeover;
- quality over quantity - I used to be that desperate and apply for everything under my eyes, until recently when I discovered one YT channel and those advices made me realize it is worthy to invest a couple of hours remaking a good CV and applying only for the jobs I really really really wanted;
I am aware this sounds like a fairy tale, but over the past 10 years I have struggled to land good interviews. Without a fail, I have applied for more than 1000 jobs. Please trust me, the above formula, 1 page golden CV + focusing only on the jobs you really want did it for me. There is plenty of advise on YT and for interviews, definitely Richard is the King. Well done @Wordpolar :-) I too went a lot of times on Richard's page. In the past, I've not been offered jobs after preparing but I think it's because I didn't really pay attention and didn't practise so never aced them. This time, I made a conscious decision that I will prepare and listen to Richard's tips - then last week, I had 2 job offers within a week! God bless him indeed. :-)

Honestly, can't believe I became one of those commentators, but here we are. This f ing channel is the reason I passed my interview yesterday. It radically changed how I approach interview prep, and I ONLY subscribed to it today - after my interview. Because I'll be watching this guy's videos every time I decide to switch jobs in the future. There's so much stuff from this channel that I legit just stuck into my interview script last minute, and it was still super helpful in getting the job.
To anyone who's having virtual interviews any time soon - practice them with yourself and record yourself. I started doing it the night before the interview and was surprised to see that I completely lost any anxiety. So I tried it again in the morning - and boom, the anxiety COMPLETELY went away. I spent the whole time before the interview just talking to myself on camera and it made me feel confident like never before.
