@@queenhadassah_7797 it depends on the amount of rice. We Jamaicans most of us do not use a measuring cup. Not if we are even cooking 20 Lbs of rice. We only want to know that the pot is big enough and that a mount of rice the water should be boiling first before purring the rice if its a 1Lb of rice it's ok.
