Part 2 of GE GTUP240EM5WW Laundry center repair - How to install Gear case assembly WH16X10185

GUD24ESSMWW, GUD27ESSMWW, GUD27GESNWW. GTUP240EM5WW
Basket nut must turn to the right to loosen, got my left & right mixed up making video lol. Still with me removing nut by cutting it off, i could not separate the inner tub.
PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE MATERIALS USED ON THIS UNIT THE GEAR CASE ASSEMBLY WAS STUCK WELDED ON THE TUB ASSEMBLY AND BOTH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. GUD24ESSMWW, GUD27ESSMWW, GUD27GESNWW. GTUP240EM5WW was leaking water on floor, cause was defective seal and gear case assembly part number WH16X10185. I used TUB ASSEMBLY - MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION INCLUDED WH45X24615 to complete repair

That nut is suppose to go clockwise to loosen and counterclockwise for tightening.

I am dealing the same problem at the moment. Different model which you cannot buy the hub connects inner tub to outer tub. You have to buy whole inner tub assembly it comes with hub. The old hub totally is totally disintegrated and inner tub is rubbing to outer tub during spinning.

Yes when I looked at him hidden it I said to myself I just don't want today I thought you had to go clockwise to get it off and counterclockwise to put it on

acabo de cambiar una transmisiom de esas ,pero mi truko es que soy llantero y ahi aprendes a remover cualquier tuerca grande o chica. a la tina despues de remover la tuerca que siempre esta muy dura se ocupa un dado y un impacto de 3/4 a 1 pulgada luego ,te topas con la tina apretada que mas bien es sarro alrededor que debes de remover facilmente con una broka en un taladro y le haces hoyos en la parte cuadrada que lleva la cuerda para que enrosque la tuerca esos hoyos son para que penetre el removedor.no tardas mas que 10 minutos para remover esa tina !eso es lo mas dificil!,no me gusta subir videos pero veo como sufre mucha gente. con esas tinas hechas por GE

Once I watch this and watch this I said mister you was going to have to do the same thing I had to do I had to cut it out in about get to come out it's in there buddy you going to have to cut that out be careful not to run yo inside tub

Hi, the type of metal they use fuse together with age, I had to replace the complete tub assembly on the unit.

It was very hard until i watched another video on how to break it,you will need to use something heavier like a 10lb hammer

I wish I would have made a video with me being mad out and cutting it out I went through the same thing the same thing but I had to cut it out
