Neat rig. If I remember right those SROD’s were pretty fragile. I’ve only seen a few in the junkyard. Looks like a good candidate for a build. Swap it to 4x4 with ttb and clean it up a bit and it’d be nice.
$700?? You know as well as i do that engine will last forever! Much like my 1993 f150 4x4 that I'm working on!! Just wish the body on mine, being in Iowa lol... looked as nice as that. A little body work on that rig.. get rid of the camo... new paint... cmon... it's not that hard to do... that truck would look beautiful! Love the pink seat cover 😅... on a camouflage truck... nice tuch lol!! Damn i wish mine didn't need the bodywork... that bed alone would be at least what you bought the truck for here. Mines already 4x4... so... i win 😅!! A lot you could do to that truck... nice find!
Hey man a way to solve the skinny steering wheel problem is the same year up to like 91 ford econoline vans. The wheel is a direct swap and is way thicker than that shoe string ford put on them trucks
i like the ladder rack thing. It'll probably look better if you get rid of the supports for the nonexistent tarp. Maybe put some lights on that little platform above the cab. You could maybe hang some recovery gear on the sides of the rack. Do you have plans for the militia benches in the bed?

Dude, keep that back troop rack. See if you can get a green canvas cover for it. Def makes the truck look unique and all tacticool.
I believe the feedback carb trucks used a TFI distributor.
4x4 swap, s5-42 zf5, small turbo so it spools up at lower rpm. That 300 is bulletproof

Not that I’m aware of. I think it was mostly put together for parades back in the day. I’m thinking of keeping the camo. I kind of like it.
