    The more I developed my rhomboids and rhomboid control the more I enjoyed mind muscle connection when pressing.

    • @bevnae
      @bevnae ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nice man. What exercises did you feel helped with this rhomboid development/connection.

    • @KenanTurkiye
      @KenanTurkiye ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@bevnaeBest exercise that I found that helped me develop my rhomboids is an altered seal row.
      Instead of using a barbell I use dumbells, and and I row from my elbows with arms close body/bench, but the aim is to row the elbows as high as possible, sure the lats gets some thickening, but the aim is to hit the rhomboids and they get hit very well.
      You just have to make sure you use your grip as mere hooks and make sure you do not grap the dumbells so as to activate your forearms and brachioradialis and row from your back, not biceps, and make sure each repitition you row your elbows as high past your back as you can, so you get more bang for your buck for the rhomboids.
      Give it a go, they are amazing.
      I recommend you start of with a flat seal row bench or make something like that, but start of with a flat surface.
      In time try adding a 45 plate on the rear leg, and another time instead of the rear leg add the plate on the front legs, this way you can do slight adjustments on which part of the rhomboids (upper lower) you like, without getting your upper traps or other parts too involved. Don't go more than a plate of two in height difference.
      Best wishes.

    • @trevorhaeberle4688
      @trevorhaeberle4688 ปีที่แล้ว

      You should know what feels right though, without someone telling you. Dont copy people, do what feels right in the muscle u r trying to hit! Experiment with movements and how u sit on every machine. Find the position that u get the most tension in the muscle u want to hit. Maybe that comes with time? But have fun, learn your body and what each muscle feels like specifically

    I've definitely came to that same conclusion here recently about people who constantly post on Instagram thinking they're "helping people" with their exercise and nutrition advice, literally just doing it to feel important. It's especially hilarious when it comes after their modeling or fashion doesn't take off. Like yeah posting your basic exercises with pretty shit form, that will definitely get you noticed.. Same for the "I'm thinking about competing" dudes too that constantly post pics and videos of them posing with extremely average genetics 😂

      @@aaronallstun2989 I would love to believe me, it pains me to watch. However, I have done that in the past and more often than not they act as though I'm bothering them. Maybe it's the age difference (I am 48). If they ask me, I gladly give some pointers, but I don't approach anyone anymore. I remember when I was younger, you looked at the older guys in the gym for pointers or just tried to emulate what they did. Those days are over.

    the filming is for their ego. we all know that and they know too. i would say its time to ban cameras and cellphones but this is a dangerous road that can lead to censorship.
