@@Dan_Kanerva I see. I guess people back then believed in the myths surrounding katanas. In Japan, they have a different status than European swords because it was so difficult to make them, while in Europe even peasants were often armed with the Langem Messer. And then there is the influence of Anime. A katana is just a massive razor blade, while a bastard sword for example has more applications like half-swording or hammering.
The biggest mistake I made when I first played KCD was never picking up an axe or mace type weapon! The moment I picked up a mace for armored enemies, I started bonking them dead real quick

I'm not even Christian but i like how everyone in this game treats you as a child of God.
You don’t have to be Christian to be a child of God

that messer was the closest thing you could find to a katana, wasn't it? 🤣
It was also likely made out of better steel than a katana.

I always used axes. Works well against both armed and unarmored enemies. And the shield offhand keeps my ass safe
How to do the stab attack with your left hand on the blade?
it's a combo move
Game needs a kriegsmesser or something and the build would be complete
Who is here in 2021
I was looking for a game like kingdome come but in the samurai era in japan or something , found nothing , but it would be cool
