I enjoyed the BoB but I thought it was too short. My last playthrough I paid Kuno and his men to fight with me against Zoul and his lot. During the battle Kuno was killed and after we'd achieved victory the remaining 2 or 3 BoB turned against me like rabid dogs. Before this I had been quite well liked among them. Oh well, 🤷 I got Zoul's armor and Kuno's Stinger out of it
my god how many times they gonna say taken wooden sword lmap hope you went for his knee i use to be an adventure once too then i took a arrow to the knee
Thats why I'd get rid of Zoul's men first, to shut them up. On a horseback, and later on, unscathed 1v1 in silence. After making him see his men being killed one by one.
That's why this game is garbage. The only people that play and enjoy this game are braindead organisms that will play any game a company puts in front of them and praise it as though it is the greatest thing they've ever witnessed.
I know the game was designed so you'd be fighting a duel or 1v2/1v3 but that shit gets annoying when they start sprinting around you and doing those attacks from behind that sends Henry stumbling all over the place.
so i realized from recent run that high leveled enemies like sir zoul, full armor bandits, cuman commanders, or last opponent on rattay tourney are damn hard to beat with regular strikes due to their ability to use perfect guard or land master strike. also it takes forever to just wait for their strike and perform master strike too and it is boring too cuz the only key you spam will be q key however, they become really dumb when henry wins on binding, making them venerable and open short time window to land any kind of normal attack, especially stabbing. since by the time of gameplay that henry faces sir zoul his strength usually reaches its max, and with strength perk it is almost certain wining from bind state this made my combat in tge game much more interesting than just being super passive and waiting for enemy's attack to spam q key, or have unpleasant experience of keep getting countered for trying to land normal attack
Just did this quest yesterday. As soon as the fight started, I flanked the opposing army and took out Zoul first. Once he was dealt with I looked around and Kuno's entire band had already gone down. They maybe killed 3 people. Henry was left surrounded by the rest of the army. I barely survived on a sliver of health. Once the last man went down, I stood there for a couple minuets trying to absorb the craziness I'd just endured.
I couldn't even imagine fighting hagen let alone all his men at once. I havent gotten far in this game at all since it came out cause i always knew it would take time to get this good with the fighting mechanic. And i just dont have the attention span for that 😭
fight Bernard and keep fighting him. If you can beat Bernard you can beat anybody. And if you're fighting 3 or more people walk backwards...the one who runs to you will ALWAYS attack, as soon as they get close you get an easy master strike.
i did the same thing on accident just bc i wanted the armor lol, once you get the fighting down this game rlly is a cake walk and you hope for the biggest fights possible - just seeing i even fought them w the same sword haha niceeee
Ironically telling the mercenaries to leave is the better option because they die almost immediately and then you have to fight Zoul AND a giant legion of goons.
Does it get any better to keep up the cycle of perfect blocks and swings later on? Most of the time, it ends with me getting hit with a master strike after two or three times
when I fought him, I let him go, then hit him anyway, he ran off and I dodged his squad, disapointed that I couldn't get his shit, I sat there contemplating, then out of nowhere, I spot him going back for his sword and shield, so I got it anyway!
Good memories. Remmember to have started this game as a thief, than became a head hunter, i killed my opponents on stealth mode. With time i become real good with a sword just to discover it isnt a good weapon against heavy armored opponents. So i switched it to a sort of great axe, but leveling a skill takes time and i got good with it only by the end of the game.
Crazy I had to do the same thing but instead of the conversation after the duel he ran away. Thinking I have to kill him I hunted him down and finished him off then all his men attacked me. Thankfully with the shield build I killed them off with a little bit of ease. But I was so confused, I never knew that a conversation would be triggered if you actually chatted with him.

my god how many times they gonna say taken wooden sword lmap hope you went for his knee i use to be an adventure once too then i took a arrow to the knee
Thats why I'd get rid of Zoul's men first, to shut them up.
On a horseback, and later on, unscathed 1v1 in silence. After making him see his men being killed one by one.
I miss this game. I'm going to have to start playing it again.
Henry should've used a wooden sword, to give that noble man a chance
The ai can be annoying in this game literally master striking or perfect blocking every attack
That's why this game is garbage. The only people that play and enjoy this game are braindead organisms that will play any game a company puts in front of them and praise it as though it is the greatest thing they've ever witnessed.
This happened on my first playthrough. On my second play through I had a 250k groschen.
I know the game was designed so you'd be fighting a duel or 1v2/1v3 but that shit gets annoying when they start sprinting around you and doing those attacks from behind that sends Henry stumbling all over the place.
exactly what happened with the final 2 dudes when the autolock wouldnt unlock and the 2nd dude combo-ed my ass lol
@@Master_Ki_Adi_Mundi I’ve died to that combo far too many times
so i realized from recent run that high leveled enemies like sir zoul, full armor bandits, cuman commanders, or last opponent on rattay tourney are damn hard to beat with regular strikes due to their ability to use perfect guard or land master strike. also it takes forever to just wait for their strike and perform master strike too and it is boring too cuz the only key you spam will be q key
however, they become really dumb when henry wins on binding, making them venerable and open short time window to land any kind of normal attack, especially stabbing. since by the time of gameplay that henry faces sir zoul his strength usually reaches its max, and with strength perk it is almost certain wining from bind state
this made my combat in tge game much more interesting than just being super passive and waiting for enemy's attack to spam q key, or have unpleasant experience of keep getting countered for trying to land normal attack
It was always satifiying landing your hits.
you should have taken a wooden sword sir
I honestly don’t know how you can block and attack at the same when they swing
I couldn't even imagine fighting hagen let alone all his men at once. I havent gotten far in this game at all since it came out cause i always knew it would take time to get this good with the fighting mechanic. And i just dont have the attention span for that 😭
Practice, practice, practice mate and good armor of course lol 🤌
fight Bernard and keep fighting him. If you can beat Bernard you can beat anybody. And if you're fighting 3 or more people walk backwards...the one who runs to you will ALWAYS attack, as soon as they get close you get an easy master strike.
This video turns into a horror movie from 12:29....
i did the same thing on accident just bc i wanted the armor lol, once you get the fighting down this game rlly is a cake walk and you hope for the biggest fights possible
- just seeing i even fought them w the same sword haha niceeee
Im hear like "go on Henry!! Fuck him up lad!!" Shouting at my screen 😂
Henry got his ass beat but prevailed nonetheless 😎🤌
@@Master_Ki_Adi_Mundi was impressive af ngl man! Fair play to you!
This is the MOST KCD moment of all time. 😅😅😅😅😅😅
Never let this guy go, he has the best armour in the game, and letting him escape with it would be a shame.
What is this mission, why I haven’t played this 🥲 and I walked through kcd twice
this is dlc bro .
band of bastards dlc
Marston of Skalitz
ITS HENRY MARSTON HAGEN
Batman Czechish Knight
Treated those goons like it was Arkham Knight
Ironically telling the mercenaries to leave is the better option because they die almost immediately and then you have to fight Zoul AND a giant legion of goons.
I love how not a single bohemian accent can be heard
You should have used a wooden sword saaar
I played the whole game in Czech, it was a lot more engaging 👌🏻
Does it get any better to keep up the cycle of perfect blocks and swings later on? Most of the time, it ends with me getting hit with a master strike after two or three times
when I fought him, I let him go, then hit him anyway, he ran off and I dodged his squad, disapointed that I couldn't get his shit, I sat there contemplating, then out of nowhere, I spot him going back for his sword and shield, so I got it anyway!
I never had this talk after he yielded because on good hit on the head finished him off instantly every time
11:47 nahhhh, bro just peaced out💀
Real
Fought him, died. Fought again, won, all his buddies came and slaughtered me. Fought again, killed him, they left me alone.
I ended up using a mod that allowed you to use polearms like regular weapons. Absolutely obliterated all of them in like 2-3 swings each 😅😅
Crazy I had to do the same thing but instead of the conversation after the duel he ran away. Thinking I have to kill him I hunted him down and finished him off then all his men attacked me. Thankfully with the shield build I killed them off with a little bit of ease. But I was so confused, I never knew that a conversation would be triggered if you actually chatted with him.
how come I have never came across this section of the game
Band of bastards dlc
luckly i got him with headcracker perk and took all of his gears man got way back home naked lol
Where can i find Markwart im searching so Long but i Just cant find him the quest Just says i need to find and kill him but they dont Tell me where he is or even a little Tip
This will be an honorable fight! Everyone starts berating Henry once honorable fight begins....
Used a heavy war hammer in this fight, made me feel like Robert Baratheon
13:06 why get off the horse in that situation? 😅
Wish they made a better combat system where you don’t have to constantly back up
In the words of Captain Bernard...
"Control the space between you and your opponent, that is your space!"
Just clinch
just started playing this game yesterday and damn now I’m in a dilemma (play the cinematic way like you or go the easy route with maces like the comments suggested)😂 big ups tho bro I’m loving the gams
I completely forgot maces were a real thing that would crack chest and foreheads in alike. Gonna have to try a mace for this fight specifically so I can kill them all😂👌 I had beat the 10 bandits before with the sword but my god did that take forever!
damn... you also have the same loadout as me... mostly same armor pieces and even horse's cloth armor...
Is a longsword better than a shield & a short sword?
I played this game two times ... yet I can't remember this scene
It's from last DLC
NOT THEM RUNNING AWAY AFTER 😂
Hey! Who's there?
Did this dlc too early in my first play through. Ended up having to spend all of my money about 17k to have the band fight with me. Wish I had done the dlc later on as Jan died from his battle wounds soon after winning the battle. I didn’t even see it happen. Never found bros corpse. At least he saw victory and got to see his bros get rich
Where can I get armor like this
im stuck on the first big arrow battle in forrest lol
"Open your mouth!" -Kung Pow
Never played this but it looks like the excact medieval knight game i've ever wanted
The annoying thing about being able to be left alone in this mission is how it's handled.
"Tell Radzig-"
Nah fuckass, I am almost certainly dead in this mission. Unless you can pull off stuff like this madlad in the video, it's just an inept way to end a product that people paid for. KC:D is phenomenl game with so much the industry at large can learn from, but this DLC's ending is far from one of the positive lessons.
How do you even combo? Like , this is insane
I like this Chaotic Evil Henry lol
The beaten up chaotic Henry lol
Is this from DLC? I dont remember this.
Band of Bastards DLC
Axe or Mace. Armor ain't protevting you boooooyyyy!
Does doing this like in the video makes your reputation goes down or anything bad?
what,, where was this event in my playthrough
Its from the DLC band of brothers
@@Master_Ki_Adi_Mundi ohhh that makes sense. Thank you so much
Raven's beak + bane potion
Just need one master strike and two clean hits
i beat him in the duel and killed him but i had no idea there was an option where he could yield and if you still choose to kill him afterwards you have to fight his 10 man squad. no way i can beat a 10 man squad in this game tho lol
What armour set is henry wearing?
Thrusting is your friend, especially vs multiple foes.
I know but i didnt expect to fight all them dudes at once so i was in a mental breakdown lol
zoul died after my second swing of my axe first hit was k.o second hit caught him on way down
this game would go so hard with a halfsword/kinstrife style fighting.
when you land master strike (aka counter) henry actually does half swording
