Ankur Vinodiya Hi, thank you very much for your feedback and for subscribing. I'm glad you like my video and my channel. Plenty more videos are on their way!
I know this is an old video but if you were to make this audio(Most rageful audio ever pt9 By RedX) that’s the name of the audio. It’s the scream at 0:13 that I’m trying to replicate
I wonder why there's still not an update to this... An Issue where when you plug in any headphone with mic or an external mic the audio input will be low. But when you remove it and use the phone's built in mic.. The input becomes normal. I tried recording in the phone's own recording app using my external mic plugged in and it works fine. But when I try in bandlab, The input is like toned down to 95%.
I think the problem is not merely to get gain on vocals...but when we record it is just too soft... I recorded before and it was fine. Now when I do it, it is just 5% of the volume I used to get 😢
Alan WGP The bandlab app used to use the phone's volume control to set the input volume but yes, for some strange reason, the bandlab app now appears to have a fixed input volume that seem to be set too low.
@@IbandUK thanks a lot for your reply. The volume input record into bandlab is still high when I connect my phone to earphones. Meaning I will hear music on my ears but sing on the tiny mic of the earphones. But it isn't easy to record this way due to my voice also entering the earphone system into my ears too. Alternativeley, when I use cordless mic, I have an audio delay due to Bluetooth. I think the old way Bandlab records voice is the best.. at least for me :)
I just have 1 problem, and i don't know wether it because my earfon/headphone or any else.. The problem is, when I'm record my song in high volume 7/10 or above, it ruins my recording It seems like double..
Slick Shidy Hi, does it do the same if you listen to your song through your phone or tablet's built in speakers? If it sounds like an echo then make sure you do not have the track monitor on while recording (headset icon at bottom left of vocal record screen) as this is slightly delayed and if the microphone picks up the monitor sound it will record it as an echo.
saga r kumar Hi, I will be doing a series of tutorials on how I create a song in bandlab from beginning to end, including all the settings and fx I use. The first video will be posted soon.
PD 3 Hi, make sure the phones volume is set to max as this affects the mic volume. Is the delay while you are recording or is the delay on the recorded track? A delay on the recorded track is usually a memory problem so use the close-all-apps function on your Android phone when using bandlab. Also run the latency test on the bandlab settings screen. For delayed recordings, (on the track mixer screen) slice and delete any blank recorded section at the start of your song track, turn off snap and then drag the recording with your finger to the correct position on the track.
I have a problem sir, when i record my vocals with instrumental it also records the instrumental. I used my earphones and when i hear my raw voice it also records the instrumental. Hope you can help me
Random Vids Hi, if your mic is recording the recorded tracks as well as the vocals then try moving the microphone further away from the headphones, turning the headphones volume down or turning the microphone volume down... So the microphone no longer picks up the sound from the headphones. If you using the phones built in microphone and the headphones do not have a volume control, turn down the volume on your phone (this will turn down both the headphones and microphone voume), or tap on the mixer settings icon in bandlab (bottom left of track mixer screen) and move the dot on the slider to the right of the master volume to the left (this will turn down just the headphones volume) but do remember to reset the master volume after recording your vocals. You also might want to add a noise gate (in FX) to the vocal track.
My problem is that when I record my verse it doesn't even match w the beat. Like the sound just sounds so shit it doesn't match the beat at all what do I do
MR Kentricks If the vocals are out of sync with the beat, you can slice the verse section in the tracks screen, turn off snap and drag the verse section to the correct place on the vocal track. If the words themselves do not match the beat then you will need to match the syllables of the words to the beat (either while singing or by slicing in the tracks screen. My songwriters guide video shows how to match words to the beat.... th-cam.com/video/Al_o3ujrMyM/w-d-xo.html
Hi im still having trouble :/ I imported a video to use as instrumental. When I record my voice over it on my ipad using my apple earbuds, i still sound so quiet. Is there a way to make the input louder? Im not quiet at all but i feel like i have to yell for the earbuds to pick up the right volume. I have tried lowering the volume on the instrument track, but it still doesnt make sense for me to have to yell into the mic to be heard. It’s not like Smule, where it picks up my voice and loudness perfectly (but I want to use bandlab so im trying to figure out my volume input issue here) please let me know if there’s another solution :(
Synonym Buns Hi, the microphone is in the control section where the volume controls are (there should be a microphone icon on the back). The best way to increase the volume is to hold the control section on the earbuds closer to your mouth when recording your voice.
I am struggling with the same thing and Im also from smule :( When I sing its super super quiet I dont know how to make it louder!! I guess Ill stick to smule
Hi, this tutorial is about increasing the volume of low volume vocal tracks, what you are referring to is blending the mix... th-cam.com/video/g86xM0u3PB4/w-d-xo.html
Thank you for this vedio . When I record with vedio mix my voice is really low after recording . How to fix that? How to record on bandlab with vedio on and loud vocals? Please someone tell me as this is a big issue. 😩🤧
Mani Cristal Hi, make sure you are using headphones when recording vocals in video mixing. If you are using the phone microphone, make sure the microphone is close enough to your mouth to record properly and set the phones volume controls to maximum. You can also add an fx, like Post Tone to increase the volume of the vocals (tap on fx icon at bottom left of the screen) or tap on the speaker icon (bottom of the screen) and drag the dot on the volume slider to the left to reduce the song volume and make the vocal easier to hear.
Tony Montana Hi, the BandLab app is on phone (or tablet) and there is an internet browser version of BandLab that you can use on a computer. Both use the same user account and online serverto store your projects so you can work on the same project (song) on both phone and computer.
HAYZZONE ZZOONNEE Hi, at the bottom left of the screen, tap on the mixer settings icon, then move the dot on the volume slider (just below the instrument track name) to the left to reduce the volume of the instrument track.
Sniawmi Talz There are lots of ways to make the vocals louder... Sing closer to the microphone Turn up the volume on the track mixer settings screen Add a gain fx Duplicate the vocal track Add a compressor fx But often the problem is the mix... Using instruments that use the same sound frequency as the vocals Other sounds panned too closely to the vocals Other sounds not properly EQ'd Too much reverb (or echo, or delay) on the vocals Using a microphone that has too much background noise (or hiss) Fortunately, I have posted videos on this channel for most of these things
