Nice work sista! Also doing it this way your companion can not knock it over!!!
Great work. No idea how you figured this out, but much appreciated effort!
Glad I could help!
Thanks for the recommendation to watch Wizard's video on the Eagle. Gave me some ideas for my rebuild.
While I didn't go as nuts as you two did, I'm quite content with it.
Thanks again!
Nice! He has some great designs, and easy to listen to. Have fun!
yessss! thank you, thank you
Great video Sista 😮
Duckfoot!!!!!! 🤗🤗🤗 Thank you😁
Thanks Sista
No problem. Hope it helps!
Thank you!! I placed 30+ succulents on my balcony and they all sunk in and eventually disappeared. No idea where they went
You are so welcome. It takes so much time to place these items. First time it happened to me, I almost rage quit😂😂 Once the items stay put, you cant help but to add a bit more, then these empty spaces really do start to feel like home. Good luck out there!
This tip will hopefully help me tremendously, I have just completed a large outpost build and I intend to start collecting and displaying decorative items.
Since you have clearly been doing this already, have you noticed the build limit increasing as you place these decorations? I'm already 95% full in my build.
And one unrelated question, what microphone/headset are you using? It sounds good to me, but would you recommend it for capturing voiceover? I have no clue where to even start with mics...
Hey Wizard! I'm using a HyperX QuadCast S. I tried to post the Amazon link, but its 1000 characters long. Its great and reasonably priced. I have used a few, and this one is the best. There are great YT vids on how to set your sound right. This is the one I used. The software he suggests is good th-cam.com/video/G1VzeT9t24Y/w-d-xo.htmlsi=jxG60OT9vLS-nXSY
As far as the base build limit, its a real drag. I find if you try to make a base everything, you hit your build level quick. I've learned to make a "theme" for each outpost. Example a research outpost, or I have one where its all storage and just an office. I'm building a restaurant across from the Fortuna Casino ship on Codos to RP being a competitor, so I wont need a ton of storage or machines and or greenhouses. The objects you place barely add to your build limit, its the structures and storage that are the beasts. They will probably come out with a mod get rid of the build limit like they did with FO4. So for me until there aren't any limits, I have to plan exactly the purpose, and make it a single one. I would love to have you join my discord. My community is AMAZING, and you can DM me there. I would love to help with any setup or YT questions you have.😁🤗😎 discord.gg/C5S4A9QjHm
@@SistaCitizen excellent, I will happily join your discord.
And yes I quickly found out that the structures and airlocks are the heaviest in terms of build limit, but I was curious if the manually-placed items have any impact on the build limit. I assume it works just like dropping things on the floor, but I figured you’d have better insight. Going to find out either way. Thanks, Sista!
So you just place it with outpost builder instead of holding A? And double place hmm
It's an XYZ placement number issue. Bethesda hasn't fixed this for eight months on Xbox regardless of bug reports
Well let them know I figured it out.
Have you figured out how to keep the bots outside? First I has a defense bot that would not go outside. So I did a test I deleted the air lock and it spent all of its time trying to figure out how to get in the outpost hab (kind of funny). Tried again this weekend at a different outpost. So I moved all the stuff out of the hab and removed the airlock and came back and this thing was in the hab.SMH
Which bots Zooty? Little ones or the big security ones?
It was a defensive bot. Had it because Ecliptic attacked my base on Mars. I found that if I never put the crew station in the hab that works. The bots load in at the crew station or the outpost beacon.😊
Does this still work I'm still having issues with this on my ship
Yes it does. Just used it las night.
This doesn't fix it
It does. I don't redecorate all my outposts before every stream. My audience see's my interiors all the time in l've streams. My items never sink unless I forget to do this. Make sure you follow exactly.
I do it this way ; I place all the items I want to place and then go back to orbit. Then I go back to my house (or outpost) and all the items will have sunk in. Then I just move them again in build mode to desired position and they will not ever sink in again. This also works for ship interior.
A placed item will only sink in once but picking it up so that it goes back into your inventory, will reset the sink. So only move items in build mode after they’ve sunk.
Hope this helps.
@@peteroudhof4352 I like my way a bit better because you get it done per piece right then and there. Placing, backing out of builder, quicksave, replace, takes 10 seconds. No need to leave, put things back....your way seems like a lot, but thanks for the tip.
@@SistaCitizen I like your way better as well ! It’s just that your way doesn’t work for everyone (myself included).
