I've not tried using all 4 outputs at once, but the manual says that in addition to the XLR outputs, you can use the quarter inch outs. That leads me to believe that all 4 can be used simultaneously.
I'd say it is definitely up there with the best at this price point. If you have a little extra cash, perhaps look at the v3+ which might offer a little more for you.
@fredcrewneck I would recommend turning it off when not in use. Try and get into the habit of just turning the master volume all the way down before powering off the device. This avoids any unpleasant sounds/noise or potential damage to your speakers when turning on or off.
I like the mixer, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a busy gigging musician. Why? The power cord is terrible. I’ve replaced it THREE times. And I carefully wrap my cords, especially after the first cord stopped working. Twice the cord wasn’t working as I was setting up for a gig. Thankfully I keep an old mixer in my truck for backup. If they replaced the power supply to something more common, I would recommend it. But having replaced it multiple times, I wouldn’t recommend it as your “workhorse” mixer. Great videos though and I agree on every other point you have on this
Great video! I had just ordered it from the performer bundle offer that was running when I saw this. Quite a bargain. I got this power supply and locking barrel extension cable, and they work really well. The cable is much sturdier and as a bonus you get an earthed connection, I verified it from the XLR out ground pin to DC sleeve to power supply. A non-locking 2.1/5.5mm barrel basically works, but externally is left slightly loose I’d recommend a locking barrel. Using a separate extension means it could detach in a strain relief scenario, might be a good thing depending on your setup. Do check they match the polarity and minimum draw requirement printed on the back of the unit - center-positive DC and min. 2A. Mine are Towisituati 12V 5A supply and Sinloon locking barrel cables from Amazon in EU.
My first mixer in my life, now next to the Tascam Model 12. Perfectly working. 😊

Great video be interested to see how you set this up with your rc600
Excellent topic! I'll be sure to make a video on how I rig it all up at some point soon.
they did now the + version!!!
On the main outs, do you use either the two xlr outs or the two 1/4" or can you use all 4 (ex. 2 tops and 2 subs)

good review, do you have a picture of your pedalboard with this mixer?
Thank you for checking it out. I'll post some content of the new set up soon, with the mixer onboard!

is this the best cheap mixer with built in delay and reverb fx

@@RossGallagherMusic I bought the V3+ today, love it so far. much better than my old focusrite
@@RossGallagherMusic I’m have a question, this is my first mixer. Is it okay to leave it 24/7 or do I have to turn it off when I’m done

@@RossGallagherMusic thank you so much, hope you have a good 2025
How do you compare this with focus rite scarlet 2i2
I've never actually used the 2i2 I'm afraid, but perhaps someone else has some feedback they'd like to share?
