Looking to add the M1 to my Ampero 2 stage board. I was trying to figure out why on earth I would need the xy controller and encoder. This is genius. I’m also on songbook pro which is an amazing app! Nice job. Can’t wait to see more on the Graviton stuff!
@@RossGallagherMusic yes I'm really impressed! I just started with the RC and allready got the midi captain because of you :) I'm a multiinstrumentalist maybe you got some Tipps for me playing multiple instruments over mic (eq, compressor etc)
Hey Ross, just a suggestion. Put hashtags in the description for the products you showed here. Example, when I was searching for the Gator Gmix case your video don't show up. I forgot your channel and was trying to find resources on that case, then I remembered your video thus I was able to go back. Hashtags would get you more in the YT search results
Great idea! I do include hashtags directly to TH-cam when uploading each video, but I have noticed that it still sometimes misses out on key products. I'll definitely stick some in now that you've mentioned it! Cheers, Ross
@RossGallagherMusic cheers man. I plan to upload a video about my big board as well, Will try that mixer case it seems a good fit for a Rockboard Cinque 5.2. 👍🏻
Excellent vidéo ! I have luminite equipement …… great possibilities ! Just a question is a Pedalboard that you have built yourself ? Because it’s very good building
Great! Thanks for the rundown. What size ply did you use? When you wrapped the sides in faux leather did you do that before or after attaching the sides?
Great question, Josh! I should have really included that detail in the video, but completely forgot. The ply is 12mm, which is plenty to support the weight for me. I wrapped the back and sides first, and then fit everything together using the screws. The black caps do a pretty good job to camouflage things, so I'm pretty happy with the way it's turned out. Cheers, Ross
were you able to program the MIDI Captain usinig the M1? Or did you have to go into "Supermode" and edit the text files to program it? I own the MIDI Captain and editing the functionality of the switches, changing the colors etc is cumbersome.
I come out of 2 outputs on the DC-7 using a flex adapter and run into the RC-600 that way. Check out the recent video I made on the DC-7, which should explain everything. Thanks for tuning in, and I hope you're finding things useful! Ross
Thanks for taking a look! My iPad has the Midimittr app installed which allows you to connect to devices wirelessly. A really useful app to have if you haven't already checked it out.
What do you think about the Luminite M1 and the accessories, are they any good to control your midi! Seen like eight minuter of the clip though, you perhaps explain it a bit later... Just bought one of those, havent got it dielived yet, anyway the money clip part is really great... Didn't think I would actually google 'Money Clips'... 👍
For this price point, I think these Luminite FX controllers are 2nd to none. Having the additional external controllers like wireless foot controllers, XY and EC controllers provide so much flexibility, and I think you'd have to spend quite a lot more to get anything that could rival what these things are capable of, if I'm honest. Definitely worth the investment if you ask me!
Can't wait to see the upcoming M1 video! There's a real need for some video tutorials 😉
@chumbo completely agree! Hopefully I'll be able to fill that void soon.
Another great vid Ross, keep ‘em coming!
One more vote to encourage you to make the M1 video! 😉
It's top of the list! I'm hoping to get it done before Christmas, so keep your eyes peeled!
Impressive board! 👍
Brilliantly put together 👌 well done & thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Excellent, always great to see how others have built their boards (and why). Looking forward to the M1 video.
@@ThePlanarchist glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, I'm hoping to make the M1 video later in the week 🤞
Wo. Just wow.

I was also looking at that gator mix case!
It's an excellent case and a perfect size for my board!
@@RossGallagherMusic yeah I plan to buy it for my Rockboard Cinque 5.2 board. Check out my channel on it!

Still witing for the M1 review...
It's on its way, promise! I'll definitely have it uploaded in the next week, so keep your eyes peeled.

I’m not a guitar player/performer, but very much interested in midi and technology. So, how does your ipad react to your midi messages?
Great video!
