This is final episode of our EPIC VW Golf GTI Bass Build! It's taken longer than expected but the results now speak for themselves. Follow Raj and Parm as they experience ad feel that BASS. Absolutely amazing. No one does these kinds of builds anymore, unfortunately, it's such a throwback . I think you guys are onto something if you keep doing builds like these. I think you should stick with the European cars, that's what your audience wants if you ask me. Well done!
That’s because the days of “crazy bass drowning out all the sound making songs not even sound good” have been over for a long time. It’s about SQ now. SPL is dead.

This is probably the coolest golf I’ve ever seen
I put a box in my son's mk7 gti and just tapped signal from the factory woofer connector. 2 12's 1000watts. Obviously I wasn't trying to make it a show car, just put the other kids at his school to shame. Just like you said, big bass is falling out and my son and his friends don't even play it as loud as I do.

Btw car audio is making a huge comeback. Ever since I installed 2x15s people in my area are doing the same thing lol. Usually the 40s and up cause they were the bass heads back in the 90s lol.

i was a true bass head back in 1987 with 2 x10 subwoofers in the back of my brothers ford granada ghia, nobody had a bass build that sounded like my bro's car in dagenham, i've had loads of big bass builds in the past and spent alot of money, now i'm 52 and i can't be dealing with all that weight of a sound system in the car no more...

I miss deep bass but I had to get rid of my 12 inch alpine type r because a year ago I suddenly started getting headaches from bass I'm only 37. Now I have a 8 inch Audison apbx which doesn't give me a headache so don't think I will be trying out your 2 15s haha

This is a wicked build.. I can imagine the bass from those 2 subs.. Hats off to the engineers.. 👌 It's such a shame that this kind of build is on the decline.. Probably has a lot to do with how car manufacturers are making car radios as part of the dash, with the readout of the station sitting comfortably inside the binnacle, adding to the other bits and bobs you need to think about when retrofitting your own system..

Yeah, car looks hench. I’d have to hear it in person to judge the sound properly though. YT videos don’t convey the power and accuracy of the sound properly, but it looks like it sounds good.

Niceee.... Question, do you tune helix dsp systems by any chance or recommend someone. I have audison amps & 12 speaker active set up in my van, I purchased from yourselves & have since added a helix ultra dsp.
Peter steinbacher of pssound is who you need to speak to on DSP tunning. He's simply the best in the business. I have system installed and tunned by him .

What's a good way to tune low bass? Frequency?
Use a program to design your box and change the parameters to get the tune that you want... there are youtube tutorials on this and designing low tune boxes, always a good start
Did I hear you say those are BLADE amplifiers? I recall Blade from the old school days but didn't know they were still around/back? I'm in the USA, so maybe that has something to do with it.
But will it sound better than the HCCA MK3?
i wish all of these videos would either record with audio that can record those frequencies or just dub in the real music. because the audio from the recording sounds terrible and distorted when the bass hits lol. i'm sure it's great in person, but really
