Once a bass head, always a bass head!
Of course, 100% 🔊🔊
I'm well into this, bring back the old skool days. When people didn't judge each others builds😊
Thanks for watching - next episode drops on Sunday!
Can't wait to see this.
The next episode drops this Sunday!
Bass and car audio is a great choice and the way forward with the scene getting destroyed with pops and bangs and reckless driving there is nothing wrong with chilling and listening to some banging tunes 👍
Got a set of oz futuras would look good on this!
Can't wait to see the final results ❤🌍😍✨😜🇿🇦
As a MK7 GTI original owner, who currently has a pretty sweet system, and one that continues to be built upon, I will tell you this cars cabin is perfect for not only SQL but also SPL.
BBS RS2 obviously!
Can’t wait for this!
My initial thoughts were a van or at least a big estate but you did bring up a valid point. I myself have a mk7 golf so looking forward to this
Azev A, refurbished wheels floating around on ebay.
With all the added weight you gotta have the motor mapped. I would stage 2 it and chuck in an is38 or a littco l380x coz its got to have some extra power
The Golf currently has a REVO Stage 1 Map - we will circle back and add more power if the weight seriously impacts the performance.
Go with a turbo elbow it looks good and is a common mod with the gti and r
Rotiform BUC the spokes going right to the edge make the wheel look bigger plus it'll have that 90s touring car look
Great project. Takes me back to when I was into my base cars 👍🏻
Trying to bring back the BASS scene 🙌🏽 🔊🔊
Stumbled upon this video while trying to look for an audio boot build ideas for my leon cupra 😂. Will be checking this out
Welcome aboard and lots more to come!
I’d love to bring my golf mk6 R up for better door speakers & fit my 15” kicker sub in,just been fully forged so i could use the run in & pop up to see you guys to help me out, need this to happen as i love my tunes
Every car should have more Bass. I have one of the CAS 12” JL Audio bass packages in mine and that thumps so this is going to be proper Bass.
I think this was a great choice… looking forward to this build despite Raj not being too keen initially 🤣🤣
Agree, Raj was initially a little unsure however has now warmed to the Golf 👍🏽
I’m old enough to remember when sound off’s were a big thing……pretty much mainstream as you could go into WH Smith’s and there were two or three different car audio magazines on the shelf ! I was well into it but the problem was two fold…..1, it was an expensive hobby and 2. I was potless 🥴 But I saved long and hard until the day came. My savings wouldn’t have gone far if I’d payed full rrp so I got myself down to Tottenham Court Road where there were so many stores that you could play them off against each other for the best cash deal ! I came home with a Denon DCA800 amp about the size of a paving slab ! An Alpine cassette head unit, a set of MB Quart 5” components and a 10” JL Sub for which I would later build my own ported box for. How I carried it all home on the tube I’m not sure lol. It all ended up in my 205 GTi for 3 or 4 years until one Saturday I parked up at Archway while I went to a gig at The Garage. On returning to the car at around 11:30 I found the door peeled back and my system gone…….even the front components. I wept, I was a broken man 😢
For the wheels LHR-M OR BUC-M, ive got a red golf tcr myself and been thinking about these.. looking forward to the build 👍
Got a mk7 gti performance myself ! Can’t wait to see how this turns out
The next episode drops this Sunday!
Fifteen52 chicanes
Looks great! Are you going to be upgrading the electrical at all? New alternator?
For the wheels you should take a set of mk1 Pirelli alloys and step them up to 18” with some nice dish. With the extra weight 18” would be much better tyres too run.
Let's gooooo, been waiting for this ever since the idea was dropped and you guys put on some pics on insta! 🔥🔥This is gonna be crazy when finished, sadly bass builds have faded away nowadays. To be fair, isn't this like your MK3 but modern? The project roster is looking mad!
Let’s hope we can revive the bass scene with our build. Agree, similar to the MK3 Golf build but now with modern tech 👍🏽
Look forward to seeing where you're going to fit the 8 door speakers... custom door pods? Following
Yes, custom door pods- all will be revealed in episode 3!
Used to rock two alpine 12” subs with a v12 alpine amp paired with a pioneer cd player. Still got them both in the garage. Had them in my e30. Now cars you can’t do much with they have inbuilt manufacturer stereos. Totally messed up the scene.
There’s a good reason why builds like this have gone out of fashion…….mainly because they aren’t in fashion anymore 😂
Hopefully we can revive the bass scene 🔊🔊
The 90's could be coming back 😮😊
Kinda agree with you.. Gone are the days when you could pull out a single din, buy a double din facia, and put in your own aftermarket double din head unit.. Could have something to do with how the radio in cars are now part of the actual dash, making it more expensive and difficult for the enthusias to tackle.. It's a shame because stock car systems can't hold a candle to a good aftermarket set up.
This is still big in the game a lot of speakers etc are upgraded with own head unit systems.
@@CarAudioSecurityUKI’d love you guys to fix me a nice speaker & sub sound system in my golf mk6 R got a 15” kicker comp sub just need better door speakers,my cars been fully forged & will be ready for the shows
I hope this car is your guys next give away :)
Saw this at UD , awesome car , how come the wheels was different in a few clips 🤷🏻♂️
Gun metal Rotiforms LAS-R wheels would sit nicely with this stance
How about 3SDM 0.06 18" or 19" wheels? Ultra modern but would suit the car well.
You need some Matt bronze Oz ultraleggerra wheels
👌👌👌
Would have Been cool if it was a Passat!🙂
Instead of a car or van for a bass build why not a coach? The luggage department could be for amps and then take the seats out and have one big long boom box
Would love to however we have nowhere to store a coach!!
The wheels keep changing between clips
air is for a hgv
🤷🏼♂️
Sorry mate need to see 4 15” walled that is the minimum boot builds where thing in the past
