These cars are insane! Even the elantra Nline is amazing, even tho they dont have a tune yet! I owe an Nline and just with a jb4 map 6, I had a blast and walked much faster cars with more mods and tuned... Im currently finishing my military training, once Im done, I'll trade my Nline for a Manual N! Keep up the good work, your car is dope! Cheers from P.R 🇵🇷 (we have some crazy Veloster and Elantras over here! Currently the fastest VN in the world is from P.R)
I bought a 2023 Elantra N last week and I love it. I got a 6-speed for MSRP after the Honda Stealership tried to sell me a Civic SI for 35k. I had no intention of buying a Hyundai until I watched some reviews and drove one. I might keep mine stock or close to it, so I can keep my warranty coverage. I love this car for the 34k I spent. Thanks for the great videos and info on what we can do with these cars. I feel like the motor mount is a necessary mod and I hope my dealership gives me the thumbs up on it.
Yes these N cars are ridiculously fast :) BTW here in Europe we found out cca 515-525 Nm of engine torque is like the max for the stock DCT. THere are some developments to be had soon to reprogram the DCT to put more pressure on the plates to prevent slippage, and also upgrade of those is also possible. BTW I also love EK1 - had stage one done to my Kona N with it, turned off stat/stop and some extra pops and bangs - Ryan from NG labs who developed it is a fantastic guy to make all this possible for us N owners. Downpipes are illegal in Europe sadly but OK we can go with sports cats instead. Nice content and looking forward to see more reports from you :)
Awesome video and awesome car!!! Big fan of the Elantra N!! In January I bought a 2023 FL5 civic Type R!! I love it a lot! Before that I had a 2019 FK8 type R! I like my FL5 quite a bit more than my FK8! It’s a lot more refined! Those Elantra N’s are incredible!! They are impressive in the performance and especially like you said for $35K it is hard to beat!! Keep up the phenomenal content! I love the vids and look forward to seeing how far you can go with this awesome car!
Hey man, very fascinating channel and what an interesting car to showcase. Very impressive car build so far and looking forward to witnessing it's potential. I'll be rooting for this underdog! ✌🏁
New part of the wrap on the rear quarter panel looks good 👍 I have been watching your channel since you first got the car and it has been cool to see the transformation. Can't wait for the new turbo set up! 🍻 🇨🇦
Excited to see what future projects you have for the car! I'm currently saving up for the elantra n and if everything goes well, I should be able to start looking and inquiring by the end of the year.
I’ve got a 2017 Mercedes S 65 AMG that just got tuned making 800 foot pounds of torque. I’d like to run your car if you were in New Jersey. My car weighs 5000 pounds. I do like these Hyundais and I would definitely buy one.
Thanks for spearheading the deep modifications for the Elantra N! You more than anyone on TH-cam has pushed the envelope with this platform and we all appreciate you sharing your results. I specifically wanted a Forge intake and inlet based on your videos and I absolutely love it. As far as tuning goes, I’ll probably end up doing a Stage 1 and call it a day. Quick question… say I want to go with an N75 tune, are you saying I can install the tune either using a spare ECU or EK1? I though I’d need both?
Thanks for your support And you can go spare or ek1 i feel the ek1 is for someone who might want different tunes in future spare for thoes who just want 1 tune and call it a day
@@ndriverkg104 Considering it's easier to flash to stock with ek1, and get a tcu tune depending on the car, it's super convenient to use, the ability to log/send and get a more custom tune is awesome. Even if you're getting one tune why not get those benefits? And once you buy it you can use it across different platforms.
I have the N75 Stage 1 tune on a spare ECU and it's AWESOME! I took it upon myself to add their "tune up" kit as well. Additionally I've got the N Performance intake and Shark Racing turbo inlet pipe, so I'm making closer to 320 whp if I had to guess. Results....========🏁🏁
Hello, I have a 23 Elantra n dct. I’m buying the Sxth s-400 turbo. I have cold air intake, blow off valve, turbo inlet, catted downpipe, wmi, and HPFP. I want to make 420-450whp. Do you know of any clutch upgrades for dct version. I’ve been looking everywhere but haven’t found them. 😅
Hope all is well. I have a n 6spd manual. I watched all your vids and they have been great and super informative. But I couldn't find out any info on the interior mods you done to the dash. Like how it was done and the cost for something like the dash wrapped in suede or leather.
How often do you change your oil when on meth/water injection? Also, an oil analysis would be cool, very curious to see how your car is doing. I'm FBO, ecu tuned, and meth seems to be my next step.
What are the screens to the left of the dash? I was contemplating this platform but stuck with Honda (it was hard to change after being with them for 20+yrs) I still love watching EN content though. These cars are insane.
Yo nice video! Got a question with the AEM meth injection kit can you turn it off when you do need to be spraying meth like when I’m driving to work and what not. It’s the deciding factor for me.
Would elevation hurt the car at all? I want to do catless and a tune but I’m 7k ft elevation where I live and the car doesn’t pop as much because of it
I have a 23 Elantra N. I want to make 420-450whp. I have a cold intake, turbo inlet, BOV, catted downpipe, and a HPFP. I’m going to run stage 2.5/ wmi lap3. I’m going to buy the s-400 turbo. I’m just curious if anyone knows I’d they sell upgraded clutches for the dct version.
Great stuff! I have a Kona N and love it. I have a bunch of bolt-on mods installed and have an OTS Stage 2 tune from Sxth Element. I feel like it can be improved, for sure. Did you have to request a custom tune from N75, or did you just purchase their Stage 1 and Stage 2 tune package?
@@bystolics yeah man I’ve been looking at forums and seeing what’s going on in the Facebook groups for about a year. I have 60k miles on my Kona N with no issues. I also have a 2013 BK2 Genesis coupe 3.8 (headers, intake, exhaust). I really wanna do some mods to my Elantra but don't want to void the warranty. Question for you. How many miles do you know have on your Elantra N? Also, side note. I usually do my own oil changes, but on the Elantra N I decided to take it to Jiffy Lube, just so I could get my reciept, for proof, and for any warranty stuff in case, to show I've been keeping up with thar. Well, 1st they asked if i wanted to put 0w20 in it instead of the 0w30, which was on oil cap? I said no, to use 0w30, which is in Manuel. I also overhead them say 4.2 qts of oil. Which the elantra n I believe takes 5.5qts. So when I got home I checked it, and yep, 1qt low. I honestly think they thought my car was standard Elantra, with the 1.6 liter. These cars are so rare that these people can't even get the oil change right
Nice man i currently have almost 40 k miles on the car 37 k tuned On thing to keep in mind if your worried about warranty i would go spare ecu I use 0w30 in oil change and do thats as well myself
I must admit it a quick car and been reliable , but if your bottom end is stock internals you might want to hold off on the hybrid turbo. You said your pulling big timing because your keeping the intake temps down with meth but that only keeps detonation at bay . I bet right now your rod's are already getting metal fatigue from the 400 foot pound of torque you are already making and run the risk of throwing a rod out of the block right around the rpm you make your most torque with a bigger turbo. It would be even more of risk especially if you have to brake boost your new bigger turbo set up. The Mitsubishi evo10/Hyundai N engine are a good engine , every bit as good as a 4g63t but still has it's limitations.
