    Thank you .
    Over the last couple of days , i've been trying to dip a dashboard component , in preparation for the main event , a much larger radio panel (i converted it to double din). I've been struggling with a few issues , which i figured was down to too much activator . I was also wondering if the water i was using was too hot as well . Just watched two of your videos , and have had both questions answered , so you get a big thumbs up from me . Thirty seconds of this video , showed exactly the problem i have , i don't think you need to know what the first one was . Now armed with this information , tomorrow i'll be preparing the test piece for dipping on Wednesday .
    But first , i'm off to watch your activator video , to see if i can pick up any more tips . But before i do , once again Thank you ...

    Thanks for all the content here and patreon. Been working on my TH-cam certification 😜
    I've been looking around how to dip rims with fake bead locks. I've never tried it but figured the the fake bead lock would cause water to pour over lip n cause a rip making a gap or be really blown out.

    • @AllThingsFunHydrographics
      @AllThingsFunHydrographics  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Keep working on it, you will get your TH-cam certification soon enough! LOL
      The bead locks usually blow out around the fake beads. Depedning on the pattern sometimes you can touch them up with an airbrush and it wont look too bad.

    Your videos have helped me a lot bro, just barely starting haven't actually dipped before. I'm gonna dip 2 pair of white DC's, should be cool, I won't tape the sides even though that's how I've seen many people do it, the tape damn seems like a bit of a pain in the ass though.

    So I deffo need some dams made up for my home made tank. Been taping my films🙄. First time I dipped the film came apart, hence the reason why I taped it up 🤣. The film needs to stretch and absorb. Can't do that with tape on. Wicked advise. You and Brian at liquid concepts are professionals at what you do. Great full for all the content you both upload. 👍🏼

  • @terrylockwood2430
    @terrylockwood2430 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great video. I can attest that dams with no tape gets better quality dip. I just finished dipping 150 deer skulls and to not tape them on that scale is impossible. Anyway I’m tired of fighting films roll up on themselves and water coming over the tape trying to get rid of bubbles. It was a pleasure to dip an AR and using dams today.

    When hydro dipping do you always dip in the middle of if the film or can you dip from beginning of the film.i. trying to dip a tumbler and get all like clumpy on the cup and don't stick and it fall off

    • @AllThingsFunHydrographics
      @AllThingsFunHydrographics  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can do it either way, if it is not sticking then you have an activator issue.
