    Hi Les, only just stumbled across your content, better late than never😊. Love the no nonsense delivery, content and no BS. Coming up to 60 and seriously thinking of selling up in the UK after 8 1/2 years hard graft getting my Thai wife a British citizenship whilst watching the freeloaders getting an access all areas free pass.
    Been visiting Thailand since 2003 as a tourist and seen plenty of areas both North and South, my wife has no particular wish to live where she was brought up near Khao Yai as land and property is very expensive due to the influx of second home owners from the more affluent in Thai society.
    Personally I’m more drawn to the coast but couldn’t bare the more touristy areas of Pattaya and Hua Hin.
    Any chance of sharing any pointers towards Rayong and the surrounding area, seen quite a few videos and visited Bang Saray but that was about as far south as we ventured by car.
    Keep up the good work and I hope you have thawed out since visiting the UK in the coldest summer since 2015, so much for global warming..

Australia COL is very expensive, Thailand very reasonable . The feeling of security becomes more important with age too. Wondering whether that security is better in uk or Thailand. Australia 🇦🇺 can’t work as a budget retiree. Thailand might .

I also offer a chat for $10 to ask any and all questions on a face to face basis on WhatsApp, if you get the info required then you donate the $10 if not then you don't pay, this is very popular as you can ask whatever you want to know. Just being born in the U.K. is an advantage that most people don’t appreciate until they’ve seen other poorer countries. Having travelled on business I’ve been to the non tourist places and seen the other side. The U.K. is in the top 10% wealthiest countries, a developed one with a good education system. But the weather is awful 😂

Going on holiday you’ll see the nicest places but you won’t go to countries not considered tourist destinations or places not considered so. The U.K. is still an affluent country and not just for the super rich - why do you think immigrants travel through most of europe not stopping in any of those to cross water, risk their lives to get here?

    • @lol-is6hh
      @lol-is6hh 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@bonditltd5346 well I do understand your point, but in current year Southeast Asian countries and China, South Korea, and Singapore have been killing it lately. Even with all the global mess, their economies are bouncing back, cities are booming, and they're constantly pumping out new tech. Honestly, Asia is way more flexible and innovative compared to Europe, which is kinda stuck in its ways right now. It's not just about money either - their infrastructure, social mobility, and access to tech are raising the standard of living like crazy. Way more opportunities there than in Europe right now.
      I know that Europe and the UK used to be the big deal because of their strong economies and social services, but let’s be real, Asia's where the energy is these days. If you want real growth and actual opportunities, the future's in the East. That’s where all the action is for people looking to move or level up their life.

China publishes phoney figures and has had the biggest property slump in global history. My company trades ( sells to) with China, and I can tell you they are in recession and deflation. Factory gate prices are down. Also, like Korea, they have a demographic problem. Korea is doing ok, unless you’re a worker there and you’d be expected to work 6 days & 10 hours. No foreigner can own property outright in Thailand. Renting will give you the flexibility to see if it's right for you. If not, you can simply move on!
