LOVED this I find your videos so relaxing and chill idk???? they just make me feel like everything is okay in the world????? also makes me crave tea?????? plus your music taste is on point as ever
aww! So cool! I think hit me baby one more time gives the most memories to me..that and moulin rouge soundtrack..i could sing anything from the moulin rouge soundtrack :D your voice btw is BEAUTIFUL!
Based on your favorite song, I think you'd love the music of Tom Rosenthal! ("Middle of my mind" is a good start) Thank you for this video, Lucy! You're a gem.
Song that gets me pumped at a party: Cha Cha Slide! I honestly feel like I need a music education. I am in such a music rut. Lately, I've just been playing the Joanne album on repeat. The opening to John Wayne is my favorite when I'm angry, especially at slow drivers. ;P
For me, you are very pretty. Not only because you ARE beautiful but also because there's something interesting about you. I can look at you for hours and don't get bored. Some people are so very pretty, almost perfect but I just can't look at them longer than 5 sec cause I'm so bored by their beauty. You know what I mean? Anybody also experience that?
Totally. The people that are just.. There.. I think I'd be one of them. (I'm not perfect in any way though.) But oh well! And I agree, she is totally interesting.
i have been watching so many of your videos recently and it makes me really happy. your videos always just seem like a conversation with a close friend.
Since you like Jeremih, He came out with a christmas mixtape (Merry Christmas Lil' Mama) with Chance the Rapper. Perfect thing if still have some holiday feel. (Btw "Coloring Book" was good but has too many features in my opinion.) You should definitely check out Anderson .Paak; "Malibu" and "Yes Lawd!" are great neo-soul/hip hop albums. Run the Jewels just came out with RTJ3 and I personally believe they're taking rap where it needs to be. "Awaken My Love" by Childish Gambino has some serious Prince vibes.
i love your videos lucy. i also like to listen to asleep by the smiths if im feeling a bit down. and i love that even though you are doing a video a day it's still a very high quality.
Found your channel today and pretty much instantly became a huge fan. So glad i found you now because these daily videos mean I get a bit of daily relaxation watching your videos while i have my tea.
I really don't think i could do this tag. I find it way to hard to rate songs or just pick one. if you asked me what m favourite song was I could probably only give you a top 30?
I don't really listen to different music when I'm happy or sad. When I'm happy, heavy metal music can make me even happier, and when I'm sad, heavy metal music can cheer me up.
Great video, I hoped you'd make a video like this because you mentioned your love for music, that I definitely share, before. I think you'd like Fragile by Pascaäl, Submarine by Alex Turner, Racine Carée by Stromae! I had a day off today so I sat by my big stereo and quite randomly grabbed a few albums. The albums I listened to are The Truth About Love by P!nk, Jazz by Queen, Abbey Road, Let it be and The Magical Mystery tour and Revolver Beatles (you know when you're a fan of the Beatles and you suddenly get in the mood?) Death of a Bachelor by Panic! At the Disco and Hunky Dory by David Bowie. That last one is really nostalgic for me. But these albums most people already know so it's not that interesting, I just thought I'd share them
I have listen to Bad Blood SO MANY TIMES and never have I thought to describe it as happy! I don't know what I thought it was but thinking over the lyrics one more time I guess it is!
Discovered this channel like two days ago, and i've just been on a Lucy Moon binge for about 48 hours straight. What a unique channel and personality! Love it
loved this tag, lots of good recommendations i need to check out! DVSN - The Line Tom Misch - In the Midst of it All JoJo's version of Marvin's Room 🙌🏾
"Little Mix is a bit of a guilty pleasure" Not just me then 😅 Also, thank you for the upload! Was feeling quite stressed with "this is supposed to be an early night, it's late, work tomorrow, I need to prep my bag, shower, tidy, etc". Get to bed and check and YAY LUCY UPLOADED JUST NOW you do not disappoint and I'm more relaxed for sleep now :) Goodnight!
if you've never listened to childish gambino i sooo recommend him, i especially recommend his kauai for you since you're more r&b (his music generally goes from more rap-based to more r&b/pop-ish based as you move chronologically through his music) but damn that voice is of an angel!! also noname is a new fav of mine, 100% recommend anyone up for a badass female rapper!!
Bad Religion isn't a song: it's a masterpiece. Frank Ocean is an absolute genius, one of the many reasons why he's one of the best artists I've ever listened to. (Also, thanks for the recommendations, now I'll spend ages listening to new music and get overwhelmed by emotions)❤️
Two things, the AESTHETIC! Also Lucy you've grown so quickly over the past few months i'm so proud and i don't even know you personally. It feels like every time i click on a video you've gained about 5,000 more subscribers.... I subscribed at 10,000 and now you're at 175,000. You are a goddess and i can't thank you enough for everything you do
I love watching videos about music:) My favourite songs at the moment are My Kind Of Woman by Mac Demarco and Hands In the Garden by Half Moon Run! I'd recommend both of these artists to you, they're both incredibly good.
when you mentioned three cheers for five years on your snapchat i just had this weird wave of nostalgia, that song is so amazing and i totally dug it out from my itunes and listened to it on repeat for ages
One of my happy songs is It's Nice To Be Alive by Ball Park Music. A friend sent me this song and introduced me to this band when I was feeling pretty down once and it's one of those songs that always puts a smile on my face. I also love that they're a local Aussie band so I've been able to see it played live a few times now 😊
The song "papercut" by zedd w/ troye sivan immediately takes me back to band camp the summer of 2015. More recently, "take your time" by fun. is a super emotional song for me because it played in the final moment of a play I was in this last year called peter and the starcatcher. That song hits me w so many memories always.
ahhhhh i just can't thank you enough for showing 6lack in one of your past videos, since then i just can't stop listening 6lack, everywhere, everytime!!
So happy you know Sbtrkt! The drummer is a friend of mine they are such a cool band and amazing live. If you get the chance to see them again, definitely do. They are totally worth getting your bag stolen for haha!
I don't usually comment on any videos, but I love how you talk about music. It's so interesting to listen to even though our music preferences are so different. I've been following you on spotify for quite some time now, but never really liked any of your playlists, but recently I've taken upon myself (ha) to treat it as sort of an experiment. And I actually found out that some of the tracks get me so emotional and others make me feel like a boss. I did not think this is possible from a music genre that is so distant from things I love to listen to (I never listened to RnB/hiphop music). Also I really enjoy how you discribe every single song/album. I've never thought so comlexly (is that even a word?) about music. And when it comes to recommendations I'm obsessed with Childish Gambino's new Album 'Awaken my Love' it is SO brilliant. And something quite different - Emancipator, Tycho. I actually really love listing to these while I'm studying, but also driving at night through a city. And from others - Explotions in the Sky, Bombay Bicycle Club, Mulholland Blue which is a small band from Prague and I just lovelove their lyrics. Bara (the singer) is just so talented. They describe themselves as 'alternative folk', but I think you would like them. They also have only 6 songs on spotify. Talking Heads and Wolf Alice are a jam and I discovered Vulfpeck like 3 days ago and I can't wait to get into their music. Nick Cave oh my god, don't let me ven start about him. Monkey Business is another band from Czech Republic and their 'Piece of my Life' is a stable in my life hah. Oh and Skyline!! I can't wait for more videos. They make me so happy and I'm rooting for you so much. Have a great 2017 Lucy Xx
You should check out the new A Tribe Called Quest album (We Got it From Here...Thank you 4 your service), it is amazing. I would recommend listening from the beginning of the album onwards as the songs transition nicely :)
So so happy you said the thing about Muse, I've just never got them... I'm like obsessing over M.I.A. At the moment, I just think she is incredible, her backstory is also amazing. Also Florence + The Machines cover of Take Care is so beautiful. The new blood orange album, Freetown sound is great too, it's just a combination of new wave soul, pop, funk and it's incredibly relaxing for when you feel stressed
I'm so thrilled that you done this tag! I don't feel like many youtubers do many tags like this and its so refreshing that you've done one! I love your taste in music and I hope you keep doing music tags! I can relate to your guilty pleasure of listening to Jeremih on so many levels tho! The song that sums up the summer of 2014 and resonates to me is Am I Wrong by Nico & Vinz. The song that makes me the happiest is Into You by Paramore. I think you would like the songs- I know there's gonna be good times by Jamie xx, Young Thug and Popcann, Talking Body by Tove Lo, The Young Professionals remix, THat Part by ScHoolboy Q, Kanye west, Overtime by ScHoolboy Q, Miguel and Justine Skye, Deep by Marian Hill, Wrong by Zayn Malik, Kehlani, We Should Be Together by Pia Mia, Might Not by Belly, The Weeknd, Simple Things remix by Miguel, Chris Brown, Future, Redbone by Childish Gambino, Caroline by Anime, Crew by Goldlink, Brent Faiyaz, Shy Glizzy- sorry for the long list of recommendations I just thought you would really like these songs
Love your karaoke choices, Numb Encore is such a good track! I'd probably sing either Rihanna - BBHMM or Marina and the Diamonds - Blue, Marina is my favourite and most of her songs hit a nerve at key moments in my life; absolutely sobbed when I saw her live last Feb x
This is a beautiful video, Lucy!!!! I'm kinda obsessed I love it so much!!!! So yeah! It's just so meaningful and amazing! Becuase, music is seriously such a memory and emotional getaway and art really. Which is why I love it so much!
ahh i love NAO so much, the whole album is amazing! if you're looking for some new people to listen to i would check out sampa the great, jorja smith, bonzai (particularly where are u now, such a banger), the whole of anderson paak's malibu album.. love finding new music recommendations so will probs follow you on spotify now i know your music taste is on point haha (editing because i totally forgot to mention Loyle Carner who is literally writing some of the most beautiful, poetic rap i've ever heard - getting a bit overexcited now haha)
Loved this! I think I'll a make a Spotify playlist answering these! Recommendations ☺️... Meadowlark, Rachel Sermanni, Glen Hansard, BORNS, Cold War Kids, Peter & Kerry.
isn't it amazing how songs make us feel all these ways? no other type of art makes me feel the way music does. i have to avoid listening to certain songs that make me feel so melancholic it hurts (example: totoro's soundtrack, mcfly - no worries and anything Paramore) hahah. also i don't like guilty pleasure concept - for so many years of my youth i thought i was too cool for anything but rock/punk, nowadays i just like a song and if i like it i'm glad i found something that makes me feel something :D lately i've been listening to some Sampa The Great, found it through one article you recommended and LOVED it. also Stephen, if you haven't heard anything by him you should. OH also this song called Breathe by of Verona, it's hauntingly beautiful. finally, have you heard of this awesome artist called Dodie? wonderful little music heheheh ;P
We've got quite similar taste in music so when this video popped in my subscription box I was thrilled. I'm gonna check everything out THANK YOU ! Loving Moonuary

Based on your favorite song, I think you'd love the music of Tom Rosenthal! ("Middle of my mind" is a good start) Thank you for this video, Lucy! You're a gem.

I really don't think i could do this tag. I find it way to hard to rate songs or just pick one. if you asked me what m favourite song was I could probably only give you a top 30?
So true! I am surprised I even manage to pick a favorite artist. Songs though? NOPE.
I don't really listen to different music when I'm happy or sad. When I'm happy, heavy metal music can make me even happier, and when I'm sad, heavy metal music can cheer me up.
I feel like you would like Dan Croll, especially the song Swim. It's a very chilled out, late night party song :)
DEFINITELY going to be doing this tag... oh my!!
