12:15 straight-up evil scientist laugh, and I’m all for it. Love this bench, didn’t occur to me how useful the sides are when folded down as clamping surfaces for vertical pieces. So smart!
Wow when you finished the workbench my initial thought was "Nice, looks like a sturdy, simple, effective workbench without too many bells and whistles", and after you explained how to use it I understood that it wasn't missing features, it just accomplished the same things even more simply
I am not a hater. I love your integration of flathead screws. I look forward to trying to find where you use them. Oh crap. I should have mentioned that the Bench and Video was awesome too! Thanks Drew!
That is brilliant design, I am going to steal that idea of support for the extensions with casters. I really love how support leg and itäs frame is placed between the table legs, so when closed it it does not protrude out of the table frame.
There's no such thing as unnecessary when it comes to shop furniture especially if you're building with walnut. Thanks for the entertainment during this West Michigan winter bomb. Have a Merry Christmas!
This is very well executed Drew. This might be top five all workbenches ever built on TH-cam really well done man always good when I drew Fisher video comes out. Take care man.
There are a lot of great features on this bench that I think I’m going to incorporate onto my next bench. Thanks for the ideas Drew!! Hope your neighbor isn’t still waiting on that river table.
I’m so glad I found you. Love your sense of humor and the bloopers. Makes me think I could do it to. Although, I think you may, very well, be a real woodworker. :)
@@FishersShop also, if I may be so bold as to say that you are looking good, man. Looks like the Lord of the Rings challenge is paying off its dividends. Keep it up 👍
As usual, great build Drew! Love your use of black walnut, thick bench top, and of course the ever present flathead screws. Nice homage to your granddad.
Beautiful work Drew! It’s “only” shop furniture, but I find it makes such a difference to work in an environment with beautiful things around you. It inspires you to make great things with it! Can’t wait to see the rest!
Drew, builds like this is exactly why I keep coming back to your channel. Not only are you fun to watch, but your builds are also well thought out, designed to do the job they are meant for while still looking nice and buildable by others with only a limited amount of shop tools. Keep up the good work. I plan to build one of your flip-carts for a couple of my tools.
The one time a flat head screw saves the day! It looks beautiful! I love how your home must be filling up with beautiful furniture and accessories. My dad made a lot of our furniture and it added a special feel to our family home, I'm glad your family get the same experience.
G’day Drew, you’re one of my favourite woodworking TH-cam channels primarily because of the nice videography & projects you turn out mate plus the wicked sense of humour. Glad we didn’t see your legs at the swimming pool 😮😁😁😁👍👍👍

That looks great 👍. Thanks for showing your bloopers. I just finished building a 5 drawer dresser first nicely finished project I've made in years. At some point I told my wife that y'all make it look so easy on TH-cam!🤣🤣🤣
Fisher, I just want to say I love your videos. Most of all, you haven't gone to the dark side of tool reviewing and tool pushing. I learn something new from most of them and I love your humor. Thanks.

Bought these plans and the under cabinet as well today. Now to just wait for my neighbors to go away so I can move their upright piano collection over here and do this in Mahogany!
Always enjoy watching your content. Great job! The added out takes are not only funny but show the rest of us that everyone makes mistakes. Thanks for sharing!
What an awesome and versatile bench! I think I'm going to make one to replace my current outfeed/assembly table. I'll do it using material and similar build materials as my Cosman workbench with a layered MDF top and Baltic birch base.
This is your most useful project to date IMHO. As work benches go I think you really address the most common frustrations with a typical bench. Good work :)
Simple but versatile. Great job. I'm designing a workbench specifically to use this style of workholding. Really glad to see that they work great for you.
