Your neighbor here Really love how it all turned out, the color reminds me of the color of my swimming pool for some reason (I know it's weird but I guess it's just the wind bringing so much dust lately) Hope you have a lovely day
I'm a Carpenter from germany and i want to build a dart cabinet too! It's for a school projekt and i thought for the motto „put it on the wall“ would it be a great idea. Your video gave me some nice impressions of how i can design it, thank you for that! 👍🏼
I'm not finished with your video yet but I had to pause it so I can make this comment. When you are carrying the bag of sawdust to the stairway I just knew it, it was so obvious, you're going to go dump it in your neighbor's yard. But no, you outdid me by far. The pool, such a great idea. You are da Man.
oh, also, the triangle trick, after over 30 years woodworking, is new to me. i like it. im thinking with a little math and geometry, you can change the dimensions of the triangle to get whatever proportions you want.
This is one of my favorite woodworking channels. Mainly because you do everything in that seeeexy black walnut, but your dad jokes are top notch. You keep stealing wood from your neighbor and I'll keep watching!
Another beautiful project! The narration is usually hilarious but this one will be hard to top. I look forward to your videos and always learn something.
It's the best looking dartboard cabinet I've ever seen! Love the triangle trick for the cabinet door design and the corks surrounding the dartboard look great and are also so functional. Can't get over how awesome the pallet wood wall turned out too.......another great job and as always, your humor made me laugh out loud!
Great video! The dartboard is amazing! I just played old school Oregon Trail so when you mentioned hypercolor shirts, i was instantly sent back to fifth grade. I don't want to be sent back to fifth grade.
Thanks for another great video. I love the process of woodworking, and absolutely enjoy woodworking channels (like yours) that actually make/build/create things vs telling me about why i need this tool, or how many tools under some dollar amount that are "must haves". Keep up the outstanding work!
Looks great! Very clever trick with the triangle piece. That's a new one for me! My sons built a dartboard case for my mancave when they were in their 20s. Not nearly as nice as yours turned out but it means the world to me since they made it together. Thanks for sharing another great project.
Another great project and entertaining video. Pretty ballsy setting up a dartboard so close to a glass door, but I was happy to see nothing of it in the blooper reel.
Neighbor here quit putting your shavings in my pool 😂 I plan to build a dart board backer for garage here really soon probably won't go full cabinet something more simple but have a standoff the back with a lip to protect the led strip light. You did a really good job and made it cool with the doors 👍
Great job Drew. Reminds me of throwing darts with my older brother and getting walloped at it most the time. I took his old dartboard cabinet when I first moved out and he asked why I wanted to be reminded of my poor dart throwing skills. I would suggest getting a metal detector wand for any old pallet work. 25 bucks for it or a lot more for a good blade.
Hey Drew, really 👍 good video, it was clear and concise, as usual. I love the look of the dart cabinet. Simple elegance. I had two I thoughts while watching. You could take a full sheet of hardboard covered with thin carpeting to protect your floor from bouncing darts. They make LED throw line markers. So if your toe glows red, you’ll be busted. Amazon sells some. Any way … keep up the great work you do. Thanks.
The floor is just cheap vinyl planking. Not too worried about that. I hadn't heard of the LED line marker though. That sounds interesting. I'll check it out.
That looks absolutely amazing! I love the details on the doors and the cork on the inside has to be my favourite detail. I'm also not usually a fan of pallet wood in projects; however, the way you used the wood made it look high class and very nice! The whole project came out looking exceptional. Well done, Drew! Also, I was drinking my morning coffee while watching your video. Consequently, I had a major coffee sinus cleansing flush when you cracked your peanut M&M joke. 🤣
Fantastic build Drew it looks at home with all your other builds there, alot of hard work went into that build and it shows so well done. Take Care and Stay Safe. Barry (ENG)
@@FishersShop I know this might sound weird but with all the dust and wood chips have you ever thought about making something out of it like a sheet of pressed wood or a resin project I know you don't really mess with resin but it's just a thought thanks for the reply back
Hope he won't miss the corks. ha ha. Another great project and video, Drew! I agree with you on the design on the cabinet doors...I wouldn't want it on all of my kitchen cabinets perse, but on this, it looks really nice.
I love the light tones in the walnut. I think that’s my favorite, I think it’s called “sap” wood? It turned out beautiful, it’s a simple build yet complex by all the finishings and your pallet backdrop wall turned out beautiful too. The only thing about the pallet wood is it’s awful to dust or clean, have to use a vacuum and attachment to get any dust off but again so worth it
Lol I knew the second you started narrating about getting the bag of saw dust out, that it was going straight to the neighbor’s. Though the pool was totally unexpected. Literally burst out laughing 😆
Awesome Man That’s Awesome you done A Great Job. Keep the good work up man. I really enjoyed watching your video. You taught me a few things. I do a lot of wood work with a scroll saw. Great job Brother
Love the use of the cleat as a spacer. Also the bearing as the roundover. The doors look great - I thought that you were going to put stringing in them, but they look fine as is.
Your neighbor here
Really love how it all turned out, the color reminds me of the color of my swimming pool for some reason (I know it's weird but I guess it's just the wind bringing so much dust lately)

Great video funny as well !
Thanks, Carl
14:38 work so well.
Nice build and video.
Thanks 🙏
Glad you show some of the frustrating things that can happen when working on projects.
That triangle trick is extremely cool! Definitely a "Why didn't I think of that?" sort of thing.
Yeah, definitely a fun technique
Makes me wonder what other shapes you can use, or jig designs to use with different shapes...

Dump the sawdust in your neighbors pool. Love it. Sweet job on the dart board Drew.
Thanks!
Love the Cabinet, Drew, especially the corks. You must have quite a few headaches after emptying all those wine bottles!
It was an amazing afternoon

Super idea with the cork backing Drew, the addition of the pallet wall and spotlights really lifts the whole area too!
Thanks! Yeah it really turned out great

Love love love the outtakes, shows that none of us woodworkers are perfect and that a large portion of it is learning how to fix goofs/mistakes.
Thanks Michael!
You forgot to secure the inner side of the doors. No corks. :-)) Very nice project. The Trick with the triangle is awesome. Regards from Germany.
Glad you liked it
Great looking dart board. Really cool triangle router base trick!
Thank you! Cheers!
Dart board cabinet is beautiful along with surrounding area looks great.
Thanks so much, Cheryl!
I always like your work, the narrative and your neighbor, that is really patient with you!
Thanks Reba
Beautiful use of walnut, for a change 😉. Wish my clamps made those sounds!
I thought all clamps made that sound.
Thank you for the humor! Your videos are quite enjoyable!!! Can't wait to try some of your projects.
Glad you like them!
i always get a hearty laugh from your comedy. Work is great too. Thanks Drew.
Glad to hear it
Great Project! Really like the wine cork backing, brilliant idea
Thanks so much!
im usually not a fan of the recycled materials thing, but the pallet wood and cork went together very well here. really tied it all together.

Me too. I rarely use material like that but it just seemed to go well with it this time.
Thanks for adding the bloopers, that's where we all live👍
Glad you like them!
Finally, a use for those corks I have bee saving forever. I am for sure making one of these. Thanks
Have fun!
Awesome video. The trick with the router and triangle was something I’m going to try. Keep them coming!
