    You said plain jane, haven't heard that term said in many years. I have said it a few times and have been asked what is that. Thank you, I have thought I was the only person which remembered and still uses the term.

      How was the ordering process? Did you pay MSRP or did it have markup?

    That Pro4x is way more than $42k, more like $47k. I just purchased a similar configuration and the MSRP was almost $49k with a few accessories. Fortunately, I got a nice discount.

    The new 22 out the Frontier back on the map, have a 19, got it with 7k miles one owner and I have about 22k now, have had it about 2 years now. I love it man, Nissan did a great job on the 22, would be really cool if they brought the 6 speed back even for a year, I would be all over it

    Everyone loves the Xterra! Come on Nissan, make it happen!

    I had the opportunity to test drive a new frontier too. I definitely liked the feel, seems familiar, yet new enough & smoother. Just still haven’t convinced myself to buy it yet since the at least 5k mark ups. Sure 5k is much less then what dealers are marking up Broncos (or other vehicles) but it’s 5k I’d rather spend on parts & accessories. Great review Dave & Kelly 💯

      I enjoyed the heavier steering but I agree Im not buying it if dealers are overcharging

    I loved the dual glove box on the previous gen and I love the physical buttons on the new one and I noticed that the new frontier the back seat doesn't sit as straight up as the 2nd gen

    • @dlg5485
      @dlg5485 ปีที่แล้ว

      The back seat is still too upright. That's one of my biggest complaints about this truck, but I love the Pro4x overall.

    I’m a frontier owner. 2nd gen is still sexy 2 me. I feel Nissan could’ve used this facelift 2 introduce a true off road package like nismo pro 4x and also implement more off road aftermarket parts. It’s still a good truck that’ll turn some heads but hopefully they’re in tune with customers grumbles.

      Rumor has it they may have a Nismo coming..

    I'm curious not that I'm able to afford a new one but I haven't heard anyone mention does the passenger seat fold down forward like the old one or did they get rid of that.

    • @AllTerrainNation
      @AllTerrainNation  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do not believe they do

    • @johnnyreb9398

      @@AllTerrainNation I don't even know if all of the old ones did I've got a 2006 LE that does and that's the first truck I've seen that did and thought it was kind of handy and wondered if it went over to the new one's or did away with it kind of like the second glove box you mentioned. If you flip up the back and flip down the front a single person can put a lot of things inside. The 2020 frontier with the new engine and transmission might be the king of the frontiers.

  • @johnnyreb9398

    I like knobs on the dash and on the tires, but my big gripe about frontier is always why can't they lift it a couple inches like they used to . Why did they quit that after the first frontier I have no idea.

    • @AllTerrainNation
      @AllTerrainNation  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven’t looked at this Gen but the last Gen had a slight lift with the Pro4x the coils were set 0.5 and the tires were a little taller

    • @johnnyreb9398
      @johnnyreb9398 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AllTerrainNation go look at the old factory lifted 4×4 hard bodies and first gen 4×4 frontiers compared to the second and third gens. I'm sure the massive .5 of an inch was from heavier bilstein springs and and some of the pro4x came with bigger tires not sure about all of them. No matter how they get it they could do a bit more of a lift than what they are doing these days that's the biggest issue as far as offroad the frontier has . If you look at any other truck that offers an offroad version it's higher than the strictly street version EXCEPT frontier, 2×4 or 4×4 identical. You would think they would attempt to compete with Tacoma just a little. I know if you look at what's on paper the 2022 frontier and tacoma have the same ground clearance, that's bullhocky and it's not just appearance either because when reviewed together the frontier is banging and hanging on things the tacoma is going right over.

    Gladiator looks ugly without big tires.

    • @AllTerrainNation
      @AllTerrainNation  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They do need larger tires to make the long bed fit the look of the turck

  • @jstitan2972

    The Frontier outsells all midsized trucks except Tacoma......go Nissan!!
