Back in August I purchased the same fully loaded exact specification 2024 model PRO4X truck in the Super Black color for $46,000 OTD with 3.9% 60 month financing thru NMAC. I have 6,600 trouble-free miles thus far. Really enjoy the truck! I much prefer the exterior looks of the 2024 over the new 2025 model. Nissan trucks have always been a very reliable vehicle in my experience.
Just bought afterburn orange pro4x loaded. You’re right about the mileage so far I’m averaging 21.5 mpg with an easy throttle. Low quality cams and above avg turning radius are my only negatives but overall it’s a better value than the TRD. If 45k for a mid size truck can be considered a value
I bought my 2023 PRO4X after watching Dave & Kelly’s review when the truck first came out. Since then I’ve but 40,000 miles on, moved, and gone on tons of adventures. The frontier did it all and asked for more. Couldn’t ask for a better truck. For a follow up video I’d love to see what aftermarket accessories you’d add if you got one. It took some time but the aftermarket is finally starting to pay attention to this truck
If ya go with the black id strongly suggest get a good ceramic coating done with a 5 year warranty its worth it to protect your investment just be sure to find a reputable detailer don't trust the watered down dealership stuff itll cost as much or more & last maybe a year
My issue is the drive train, not the engine or transmission but their four wheel drive system. I need the 4xauto and the ability to lock my lockers when not being obliged to be on four low. A simple flick of the switch, rear and if possible a front. Canadian winters in Quebec are narley and I live in the mountains, snow gets deep, I can't be stopping...it's tough to get where I need to go without the snow already. Just doesn't cut it, even in the city, a 2 wheel drive with icy roads and hills all over the place throughout the city....i don't want to be like them idiots with their toyotas or small vehicles in a ditch or stuck on the side of the road. 😅
Tell me you are a Nissan fan boi without saying that you are a Nissan fan boi. Sorry, in the mid-size pickup category, it's all about the Ranger XLT or Ranger Raptor.
@AllTerrainNation actually that was the XLT high FX4 4wd 2.7 V6 with the technology and towing package for less than the Nissan! But ya, if you're an anti-hp, anti-torque, anti-boost bigot - Nissan has your truck. LOL
@ 5 more HP isn’t that much but the TQ is a big boost. I’m not saying the Frontier is for everyone but it’s done well with the Toyota boi’s since they’ve moved to a turbo 4
@@AllTerrainNation maybe only 5 hp, but it's 5.6 second 0-60 time (car and driver) speaks volumes over the Nissan Frontier Pro4x. That's over 1.5 seconds faster in just 0-60 time. The Nissan is a sharp looking truck, I will concede that.

Out of the midsize trucks this one is definitely more bang for your buck
I completely agree!
The low payload is a problem. I'm not a fan of Nissan anyway, but the payload was a deal killer.
Nice truck!!
It's definitely a platform that has me saying hmm...
Hi Dave ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Mya
Great value? When the crappy CVT goes out, I believe you will change your mind.
@@cornbread8246 lol.. it’s has a 9 speed transmission but thank you for the comment
Doesn’t have a CVT, learn before you speak….
I'd rather buy an older Toyota
Nismo makes some great aftermarket wheels & much better shocks

@@Skraals I know there’s a mod you can do to the 4WD low issue and locker.
But I agree AWD would be a nice option
@AllTerrainNation yeah, i heard bout the mod, but once you mod the truck your warranty becomes void....not worth it sadly.
I have a Taco TRD Offrad. I agree that the requirement to be in 4wd Low is silly. The TRD system is excellent overall though.
@@Skraals only the part you mod voids it

@@mpeugeotAnd are you racing this truck? 0-60 is totally irrelevant. And the countless recalls on Ford this year..roughly 60 ytd.
The 9-speed tranny issues give me pause.
What's the issue?
None that we know of
