    Thanks for the series! However in Electra example I see there is FK transform node before the IK, but there are only few joints promoted, like fingers, clav's, neck and the head, and rotation only.

      Glad you like it! In the FK transform autorig component, there's an integer slider called "addpttransform". That's the important bit that the IK needs in order to work - turn it off, the IK doesn't work anymore. I'm planning on addressing that in my next video 👍

      @@maxrose8845 yes exactly. The addpointtransfroms is needed, but no need to promote trs for everything not planned to be directly controlled

    Can't force start IK to work in new APEX Autorig Comp node (looks slightly different than your in 20.0.724). Is there any chance to get detailed explanation what did I missed?

      Is should be the same setup. Triple check your naming conventions, look at your mirroring options (if you're using them) and watch the naming of your controls. What problems are you having exactly?

      ​@@maxrose8845 Sure, more I know Houdini more I realized it's my lack of knowledge instead of bugs lol.
      Just found out I missed some important things before applying IK. Could I bother you later if it didn't help?

      @@maxrose8845 Ok, I surrender... Realized how to work properly with tags, made active rig, but have problem with legs IK controls placement... According to shape deformation the IK legs should be placed not in front of the legs but from both sides... I guess it's because joint rotation, maybe... Need help

    please do the simplest lesson on BlendShape in Apex, from the very beginning and not already on the finished scene, just take a ball and change its geometry by moving the control point, what is so difficult?

    Everything works fine until I get to 3:13 and try to move the IK... I can't see any handle or grab on anything, just getting errors "Error attempting to fetch post interaction parameters".. what am I doing wrong?

      @@maxrose8845 In new versions of houdini the autorigcomponent has 2 extra fields called search and replace in the settings tab. Deleting what comes as default in both makes it work again

      @@maxrose8845 As I understood correctly the problem was in some changes in build 20.0.668. If you delete "_l" in "arm_pole_l" and "arm_ikhandle" in the controls tab in authoring (smoothie), then the IK rig starts working normally.
