Great content! Tutorials like this comparison are crucial in today's fast-paced world of software development. New users need to learn and compare new features with old ones, and it's becoming a requirement to build better skills.
I have one question: In this tutorial, you cover a simple setup and compare the speed of the simulation. For a more advanced setup, what are the pros and cons for may be a ground destruction? Which one is better? Before Vellum, pop grains were solely responsible for this type of work. But after Vellum grains, can it do it as well? Thank you.

Hi Yonni, please could you show how did you setup the grains (even the cluster and constraints) and the render for the cylinder at sec 11? Thank you

Hello! I go into it on my Patreon, but it's basically a tube, vellum configure grain (fill with particles), a 'pop advect by volumes' and I've used some attribute noise to blast the top particles out, so the top is a bit more uneven. Hope that helps :)

    Hey Yonni, love your contents!
    Question:
    1. For your patreon, could you post preview video so unsubscribers can see a preview of the tutorials?
    2. Could you make more breakdown videos of commercial Motion trailers and recreate them in tutorials (something like the meta quest pro video), that would be extremely useful for people new to motion instead of just learning technical stuff like what TimJ, Nick and Paul are teaching.
    Love your stuff, thank you!

Hey, thanks a lot for your comment. It's really useful to get feedback on the content I create, so really appreciate you taking the time to write this.
      1. Yes definitely, I'm planning to release trailers for every months Patreon from now on. Kind of like the #1 trailer. Is this what you're looking for?
      2. That's a very good shout, I've planned a couple for this year, but I'll definitely put some more emphasise on this.

@@YonnideHaar 1. Yes, just like the trailer video 👍
      2. That would make the whole community wholesome since evryone will be teaching different section/ pipeline of a motion design project. Do consider it as your main focus.
Anyway, I’ll be looking forward to it and subscribing soon.
Btw, is there a discord server link too?
      Thanks!

Can I ask why you dont use the "grain source" node?

Great approach! Thanks for sharing... so far much faster than vellum...therefore how would you apply to a moving mesh? I tried to use stopped and pintoanimation attribute but it seems they just work with vellum. Like the animation showed here th-cam.com/video/UCMHA__2x5c/w-d-xo.html
