    The flat notch on the Left side is to prevent the mic being rotated.

    i bought this headset. I've been a fan of open back compared to closed back. I had the PC38x for a while and couldnt do it anymore. The fit and the clamping was terrible. I have really enjoyed this one over the Pc38x. Apparently Corsair has a balanced 4.4mm cable for this headset but i cant find it anywhere. I might try the H6Pro open back.

      I asked and apparently Corsair is going to have the 4.4mm cable available in November.

      I agree with you on the PC38x clamp😂 I have these now and its super nice. The earcups on these feels meh but once Wicked Cushion comes out earpads for these it’ll be soo good!!

    I bought this headset after the release and I have enjoyed it. I really love the design and the sound is really good and loud. I do agree with the ear cup discomfort. I have larger ears and I have to position them a certain way so my ears don't get pinched. I do wish the ear cups came in a mesh or more comfortable fabric but I'll see what Wicked Cushions has to offer.
    As for user error I unknowingly put the R connector into the L connector and was wondering why my audio was so off. I'd hear things on my left but they were to my right. I almost returned them until I noticed that 😅 Overall I think Corsair did a great job on their first open back headsets.

    Hey, there. Great video! I have a question about the mic. I currently use Astros which have "sidetone" built in. Playbacks your voice in real time so you can hear yourself speak. Do these Virtuosos have this feature?

    How is it compared to H6pro open headset ,, what’s the best open headset you recommend for gaming and movies , thanks for the reviews as always .

    okay so the biggest issue the virtuoso had (comfort) are still there with the round ear pads.
    Next version please.

      You could use software for that like SteelSeries Sonar

    Would you recommend them if they were to come out with third party ear pads that are thicker?

    wicked cushions are releasing gel pads soon for these and they're deeper so your ears don't touch the drivers

    I do want to ask how youd compare them to the A50/A40s? I was looking at them and the HS80MAX a lot when these came out and I really liked the design and got them. I was really looking for a quality fps like headset, which i think this has filled. But I've seen the A50X leaks (am hoping for an A40X too), and was curious how youd compare them to the current Astros. Thank you for any advice you may have.

    No WiFi = no buy. Why would anyone buy headphones that can only work via cable? The same is with mouse. :|

    • @TheProvokedPrawn
      @TheProvokedPrawn  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Though I too prefer wireless, you don't get the same audio quality as you have to sacrifice potential kHz. And there's latency to account for too.

      @@TheProvokedPrawnTheoretically yes, but in practice I don't see any difference other than a small one in the sound quality through the microphone. Nothing worth messing around with cables. I have a Corsair HS80.

      @@DuskoJovic Corsair has a ton of wireless options to choose from, why does every single model need to be wireless? They even have two a wireless Virtuoso models!! lolol

    • @DuskoJovic
      @DuskoJovic 25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@SofaKingA There are many reasons why these headphones should have Wi-Fi as an option.
      1. The presence of WiFi would in no way reduce the effectiveness of using these headphones with a cable (for those who want it)
      2. Both models of wifi headphones that you mentioned in the Corsair line are not Open models and it would be great if this model also had wifi capability
      3. For example, I would buy these headphones right away if they had wifi. I'm sure I'm not the only one and there are many who think the same and I don't understand at all the move of the company to deny the sale of its product by avoiding to install a wifi adapter that does not cost more than 20 dollars to manufacture.
      I'm sure there are more reasons, but I think this is enough.

    How well do you hear yourself talk when gaming and wearing these? Im a streamer and the headset i have isn't with open back so i find it hard to hear myself talk sometimes which can get annoying. Will these solve that problem? Thanks!
