- Prawn here with an in-depth review of the @LogitechG Pro X 2 Lightspeed. This is a fantastic headset that's an interesting upgrade to the previous Logitech G Pro X Lightspeed. #logitech #gamingheadsets
My favourite features of the Logitech G Pro X Lightspeed are:
- The swappable ear cushions included as standard (choices of comfort or passive noise cancellation)
- A solid headband design that includes pivot and tilt ear cups that can easily fit your head
- Both Bluetooth and wireless connectivity (though sadly not at the same time)
- 3.5mm connections on the headset AND on the wireless dongle, so you can wirelessly mic monitor and external mic or mix in another analogue source
- Good punchy bass and DTS Headphone X 2.0 as well as other satisfying sound profiles
- Logitech Blue Voice mic tech (for customised sound)
- Stylish design
- Decent battery life

Bought this a few weeks back - totally agree on the bass being too prominent, but I haven't tried adjusting that down yet. My first wireless gaming headset and I LOVE it - works off a USB switcher as well, so can switch between my work laptop and my PC without any issues at all. In fact gone Logitech wireless for my mouse and keyboard too, and they're the same - I have an uncluttered desk for 2 PCs!
Significantly better audio than the prior version. Also more comfortable and has Bluetooth and 3.5. They look very similar but are way better. Have no regrets paying retail price for these.
What audio preset do you use on g hub for pro x 2?
The Logitech G Pro X 2 is a mouthful of a name for Logitech to have gone with, haha. Absolutely brilliant video review! Really liking all of the connectivity and pro features the headset has, and the audio quality is amazing once some modifications are made. The price is a bit too high, but I’m sure that it’ll go down in price during the holiday season.
I miss my Logitech gaming headset, so I’ll keep this one on my list of options. The Razer Kraken was a good budget option for me, but it pales in comparison in almost all regards, and it’s so heavy that it gives me a headache at the end of a gaming session.
Half the search results for it turn up mice instead.

I also have the X 2 headset on the way, hoping to use sidetone directly from my Rode VideoMic GO II trough the jack port in the usb dongle.

@@Fefecoxx depends on a game I choose what sounds best to me, but it doesn't impact the mic monitoring in any way. Usually I use one of the spatial settings

Is it still better when you change the mic from an older g pro?
When the headset is off and charging, can you see on the headset itself whether it is fully charged or still charging? Does the headset show this somehow without being connected to the pc or being on?
6:30 the G633 i bought years ago also has that feature... but the cables are starting to fall apart, leading to some wonky audio glitches, and i really want to avoid micro usb from now on, so im getting this headset now

Logitech sound better and are more comfortable but not worth buying if you already own the nova pro it's not that big a difference

I have an issue with this headset when im in discord or ts my friends can hear every sound twice. Because the mic is recording the sound what comes out of the headset. I tried everything in g hub but nothing works. Has someone the same issue ? If anyone have an solution for this problem pls help me.
Can I still use the usb external soundcard from the previous Pro X model and put it on this one?

My friend you forgot to talk about the volume, some people like me has to listen things at high volume
those cloth ear pads are comfy, but they destroy the sound so badly. Also since the headset is already has fairly low volume the cloth pads make it worse.
Pad swaps are a MAJOR deal and it should be noted.
Low volume? Not in my experience.
@TheProvokedPrawn in my experience the headset doesn't get very loud. At least comparing to the other headsets i own and have used
@@TheProvokedPrawn Agree with this. It might not get as loud as some others but it has plenty of volume. People seem to forget that they will regret it in the long run using headsets too loud. Protect your hearing people.

Yep he may have hearing damage that’s undiagnosed 😢. Gamers are blindly cranking volume in these things all the while experiencing explosions,gun fire, bombs, lasers, loud pings etc in games. Once you’ve lost your hearing it’s permanent. No damn game or headset is worth this.
i just got x2, i had logitech pro x first edition and in 5 month my usb stop to work.

no unfortunately that’s why i’m returning mine for a different headset
@Tonebaby_ray I read on reddit and on Rtings forum that they updated the firmware on G-HUB a couple of months ago that saves EQ to the headset so that it does carry over to PS

Can this headset switch between 2 devices if a 2nd wireless transmitter is purchased & attached? For example between pc & console?

Definitely not. These are so uncomfortable it’s annoying. Sound is not even close to steel series
I don't get it. I purchased a set of these. Turned on Surround and fired up Battlefield V. And the sound is awful. The bass is hard and too loud. And the sound is muffled. I felt like I have a pair of foam buds stuck in my ears.
How can anyone say these headphones have good sound?
Might be something wrong with your headset. Take it back
