anyone who watches Netflix shows like rust to riches or something like car rebuilding shows, u know that this content right here is free to watch and they are on a medium budget but are very professional with this its like watching a show that's done weekly and in real time. Rich rebuild, i love your channel and i love all of your content even your little jokes you start adding in the intros. i wish there was like at least 4x the content you put out because its amazing. i have never been so excited to watch TH-cam videos with a date set on it til i found your channel which is getting close to two years. Thank you for all this content and its amazing to see how far you are into this now.
I have been turning wrenches for more than a half century. I can't tell you how many TH-cam builders I have bitcthed at for not putting the coils in the brake lines at the master. good job.
The nickel copper alloy brake lines are great. Easy to bend, dont rust away like the steel. Not as good as stainless but the best diy method in my opinion
The benefit of them over stainless is they stay flexible, but take a bit more effort by mechanics to look tidy and straight as it comes in a roll here. Steel ones become very brittle over time and the stainless ones can fatigue to, but not as badly as regular steel. They wont even sell the steel ones here in Ireland at the parts stores. I dont know if you can have a brake line with joins in them now anyway and have it pass inspection here.
I was slightly disappointed as I think you missed a golden opportunity for a SEMA nuts pun, but I just want to take a moment to show some big respect to you guys for actually going through with this build. Although it may seem like a hair-brained idea, it actually takes a lot of skill to pull this off, so well done to everyone involved. I can't wait to see her all done.
I feel like lots of people could have done an LS swap into a Tesla but it would have been full race car. This level of detail and retaining the tesla body control, computer etc is amazing. Hands down Rich’s best project to date, and I don’t think anyone else could have done what this team has.
Would have loved if they would have used a corvette transaxle rather than the typical GM box attached to the engine. It would have allowed them to completely restore the tesla interior completely stock and make it super sleeper status. Until you turned it on and it rumbled... you wouldnt know it was a v8.
That was great timing when you guys tested the dome lights and panned up to show it working and Rich's shiny dome was reflected in the sun roof. You must have planned that.
