I love the hourglass blush on you. You can see the difference when you applied it. A lit from within, very natural!!! Even just that without the highlight and bronzer is already perfect on you!!!

I like the look! Lips can make or break it and can be the hardest to match. I feel like I play myself because I definitely have a lot of similar shades that are my fave but then they don’t go with everything 😂
You basically explained exactly why I hate the bare minerals foundation. I felt like I was applying loads of it and spending ages blending. I thought powder foundation was supposed to be quick and easy. I apply the Jcat powder foundation with a damp sponge and it takes way less time than applying liquid foundation and setting it with powder.
Indeed! For me, all that buffing would just irritate my sensitive skin. I have the Pur pressed powder mineral foundation. I never thought to use a damp sponge to apply it. I'm going to give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion! ~Anastacia in Cleveland

Even though $25 isn't a lot of money, and this little palette is calling my name, I'm going to try to "dupe the vibes" first. So far, 3 of my palettes combined might work: Alter Ego's Sahara (dupe for the ND Biba palette), ColourPop's Blush Crush, and Elf's New Classics. I have the Pur 4 in 1 pressed powder mineral foundation. I don't know if the buffing trick would work with this foundation (I have the same Elf brush that you are using here), but I don't think that my sensitive skin could handle doing that.Cheers! ~Anastacia in Cleveland
I have to say, I think the mini retro palette is one of my top favorite ND palettes. I love the looks I can get with it (minimal as they are). I have the Becca Dune lipstick. Is it me, or do they smell like chemical/makeup smell. (It's a new tube.) It also reminds me a bit of Urban Decay's Fuel lipstick - which doesn't smell off. I loved they eye look you did. It looks great on you!
Growing up the only makeup my mom really wore was black mascara and black eyeliner so I thought I had to have black eyeliner to do any makeup work now I barely use it it just closes off my small eyes
When you use concealer on your eyelids, do you find it increases wear time? I'm a teacher and am on the lookout to use things that last 9+ hours. I use UD primer potion and then a cream eyeshadow and eyeshadow on top. Also I got the Bite foundation and LOVE it! It feels similar to the UD Stay Naked. Funny you mention Wander Beauty. I really want to try their foundation. It looks amazing.

It's the ELF ultimate blending brush (I think that's what it's called)

I love the Mini Retro, but I have the Sultry palette, Naked 2, and the ELF quad in Rosewater, so I probably don't need it.... But it's so pretty 😿
