I used to feel a little bad for these brands that had a cheaper dupe made by another brand, but the more they raise their prices, the less bad I feel. That Patrick Ta eyeshadow palette is $98 in Canada, which is completely ridiculous.
There has been a money grab since Kylie became a billionaire with her lip kit but I hate company's feeding off the insecurities of women to charge more. It's all marketing to get more margin/profits. Meanwhile, women are getting poorer and don't even need it.
In brazil the patrick ta products dont coast less than R300,00 (Reais Brasileiro), with this amount of money a single person can eat for a *month*. I dont hate dupes at all.
Girl... to me dupes are the best. I love makeup...it is one of the things I enjoy the most, but I can't afford to buy a $60 foundation or a $80 eyeshadow palette. More important things need to get paid, therefore drugstore makeup has to do it for me and let me tell you, there are gems out there that will make you look gorgeous without breaking the bank. That makeup revolution palette is on sale on amazon for $10 and it is crazy good and a Milani baked blush is a good as a Mac one and they are $8.99.

As a business woman, I completely understand the need to keep them timely and on the shorter side for the different platforms. You can do a lot at home with skincare, I got rid of my melasma following Dr. Idriss advice (Pillowtalk derm) but my case was not very severe though. Check out her channel 😊

Wow! Catrisse and Essence for the win. Elf has the clicking lippies too. I ordered the TirTir Aura after your video and I LOVE it. I did buy the wrong color so I bought the correct one. I don’t wear make up everyday and I love they have a smaller size!! I love the elf gripper primer for under it because I now have oily skin but thank you Tati for bringing me to TirTir 👏🏻
Hi Tati, You are so right by how close the two eyeshadow palettes are. I did a freeze-frame and can see a slight variation in the metallics (with the exception of the lightest color at the end). I could just be the way the light is hitting it. I’d have to see them together in person - but so close. Thanks so much for bringing these products to our attention - they are truly great finds. I will definitely be taking a closer look at Makeup Revolution’s line.

The guerlain can charge that much cuz it looks like they load it up with way more gold flakes cuz they know it looks prettier and will sway people into impulse buying it over something more basic looking. But we as consumers need to realize that when a company like that is in mass production like that, they get the raw materials for dirt cheap! So all that extra gold flake probably only cost them an extra 5¢ to be able to charge an extra$80! And it's insane to me that people will buy stuff like this just cuz it's prettier! Idk, just a thought i had! None of us should be going broke buying skincare or makeup! So I encourage everyone to please please please buy the cheaper products!! Maybe the "fancier"companies will get the hint and start lowering prices! Ik it may not seem like it in this economy but we do actually have the ultimate say and can sway things quite a bit!

For the least expensive duochromic/multichrome eyeliners, I honestly have to recommend the duo/multichrome eyeliners from SHEIN Beauty. Excellent liners , great staying power, even in the waterline. They have 6 shades. I’ve been using them all for a couple of years now. To die for!

But I get it... many of us just want to make things a little clearer, brighter, tighter... ME TOO!!! I am so curious why Nurse Jamie and you decided on potenza for hyperpigmentation / melasma VS. IPL or another laser treatment... I have done 2 rounds of IPL over the past 6 years and it was extremely helpful for pigmentation, but of course estrogen (for me) is going to keep driving the hyperpigmentation/ melasma, so I will need to continue getting it treated. Curious if I should try a different modality. TY for any insights as to why you chose potenza over other modalities... ❤🙏
I don’t hear much about this one, but a great dupe for the Tarte Maracuja Lip Balm is the ColorPop So Juicy Plumping Gloss Balm. Specifically the shade Vacay Mode, it the best your lips but better shade. Paired with the So Juicy Plumping Lip Liner in Westwood, it is absolutely gorgeous. The gloss isn’t super tingly but it’s is definitely glossy and hydrating, making your lips look plumper and the liner is so smoothing and slightly minty. 😍 Honestly so goood! Hope you try it, love you 🩷

okay that top is so gorgeous! you can either dress it up or dress it down which is great. if you want to dress it up and make the illusion of a floor length dress you can pair it with a skirt (i think a mermaid cut would look amazing on you) that has the same color and fabric with your shirt. But i think it's going to look so good with a velvet skirt that has the same color with the shirt.
I am SOOOO curious to hear about how this facial treatment ends up going for you!! A few years ago I got 3rd degree burns all down the calf on my left leg which took most the year to heal. Initially the scars were darkkkk purple, somehow I’ve gotten them lighter than I thought possible but I hate it. I won’t wear dresses, skirts, go swimming & it’s heartbreaking.💔 I’ve been curious what I can do to lighten them. I think lasers would help but I’m dying to hear the results of what you did cuz it may work similarly for burn scars.

I love that MUR Silk skin foundation. I've been using it for a year now and it's the best I've ever had. If I use it with a specific primer and MUR setting spray, it lasts all day long for me. I really like a colour story of a different MUR Iconic palette (more cool toned) but I was hesitant if I should buy one. I think I'll order it.

I shop drugstore, midrange, and treat myself to high end every once in a while and I love to hear what’s similar to what. I just bought the NYX setting spray and haven’t gotten a chance to use it yet, now I MUST! Also, Essence has some great stuff, so I’m definitely gonna checkout the duochrome eyeliners. I have a bunch of their nude lipliners that I use all the time. I think they were $2 each and work better than some of my more expensive ones.

For the least expensive duochromic/multichrome eyeliners, I honestly have to recommend the duo/multichrome eyeliners from SHEIN Beauty.
Excellent liners , great staying power, even in the waterline.

Hi! Would appreciate if you could list what you're using even if it's just at the end of your video. It's hard to catch the exact dupes here ie. The Revolution palette! They have many but I don't know exactly which one. Just a suggestion. Most contact creators link them in the description. I find that helpful. Great video though and your blouse is the bomb!

I am so curious why Nurse Jamie and you decided on potenza for hyperpigmentation / melasma VS. IPL or another laser treatment... I have done 2 rounds of IPL over the past 6 years and it was extremely helpful for pigmentation, but of course estrogen (for me) is going to keep driving the hyperpigmentation/ melasma, so I will need to continue getting it treated. Curious if I should try a different modality.
TY for any insights as to why you chose potenza over other modalities... ❤🙏

I don’t hear much about this one, but a great dupe for the Tarte Maracuja Lip Balm is the ColorPop So Juicy Plumping Gloss Balm. Specifically the shade Vacay Mode, it the best your lips but better shade. Paired with the So Juicy Plumping Lip Liner in Westwood, it is absolutely gorgeous. The gloss isn’t super tingly but it’s is definitely glossy and hydrating, making your lips look plumper and the liner is so smoothing and slightly minty. 😍 Honestly so goood! Hope you try it, love you 🩷

okay that top is so gorgeous! you can either dress it up or dress it down which is great. if you want to dress it up and make the illusion of a floor length dress you can pair it with a skirt (i think a mermaid cut would look amazing on you) that has the same color and fabric with your shirt. But i think it's going to look so good with a velvet skirt that has the same color with the shirt.

I am SOOOO curious to hear about how this facial treatment ends up going for you!! A few years ago I got 3rd degree burns all down the calf on my left leg which took most the year to heal. Initially the scars were darkkkk purple, somehow I’ve gotten them lighter than I thought possible but I hate it. I won’t wear dresses, skirts, go swimming & it’s heartbreaking.💔 I’ve been curious what I can do to lighten them. I think lasers would help but I’m dying to hear the results of what you did cuz it may work similarly for burn scars.

I love that MUR Silk skin foundation. I've been using it for a year now and it's the best I've ever had. If I use it with a specific primer and MUR setting spray, it lasts all day long for me. I really like a colour story of a different MUR Iconic palette (more cool toned) but I was hesitant if I should buy one. I think I'll order it.

First of all, I think you look SO CUTE today! You know, sometimes us girls just wanna get glammed up simply because we wanna 💕 Also, I love a good dupes video. I shop drugstore, midrange, and treat myself to high end every once in a while and I love to hear what’s similar to what. I just bought the NYX setting spray and haven’t gotten a chance to use it yet, now I MUST! Also, Essence has some great stuff, so I’m definitely gonna checkout the duochrome eyeliners. I have a bunch of their nude lipliners that I use all the time. I think they were $2 each and work better than some of my more expensive ones.
