Tried this today - a very good recipe - baked it in a 7 inch loaf pan as per the video - came out perfect 👌, then made one in a 6 x 2 inch pan - it fits and bakes beautifully. This is the recipe I looked for all along - gives a nice tall cake layer

Just made it, and it’s awesome!!! I always failed to make cakes they turned out so dense. I was doubtful of this recipe but istg this cake was so simple and delicious. Would recommend also it’s easy but a little bit tiring, beating the eggs took along time for me. It took me 30 minutes so just keep in mind to use a really good beater. So I would give it 10/10.

Sugar 1/3 cup+1 tbsp (85gms)
Salt 1 pinch
Flour 3/4 cup (80gms)
Cornstarch 1tbsp (7gms)
Baking powder 1/2tsp
Milk 2 tbsp
Vanilla essence 1tsp
Butter 20gm
How to measure 3/4 cup flour ?? Because I dun have 3/4 cup in my measurements utensils

Also i used 1/4 cup oil instead of butter. 2/3 cup sugar instead of 1/3 cup.
2/3 cup = 1/3 + 1/3 cup
Also I made it on stove. Preheated my pan for 10 minutes on medium flame. Then baked it on low flame for 20-25 minutes.

It is always advisable to use lukewarm or room temperature milk. Otherwise it could make the eggs scramble
