I am having a lot of trouble finding a medical professional who will discuss this at length as you have. Thank you so much. I believe I'm in the first stage but it's been a year like this. Where do I go to find a specialist for this issue?

The diagramming was great and I have saved this video to explain to others a difficult to understand disease! One other suggestion would be to add a link or some explanation about what symptoms can occur besides fibrosis and swelling that can occur throughout the body as the lymph system get compromised.

I am being used as a guinea pig to test the cures for lymphedema. Your video opened my eyes to what the Rehab is doing to elevate my health problems with Lymphedema.

This was fascinating! Could you also make a video about Lipedema and maybe the difference between Lymphedema and Lipedema? Thank you!

Same here. I really had no idea how serious it was. I was right around 33 yes old and just thought it was because I was constantly in my feet. This video helps a ton.

Great explanation! Surprised you didn’t address the role of obesity in causing or exacerbating secondary lymphadema, though.

Is there any relation of lymphedema to Complex Regional Pain Syndrome? What about MPNST at the L4-L5 and psoas muscle ?

Why did you not talk at all about the immune compromise that is a result of lymphedema? It is considered a immunocompromising disease that is chronic and progressive with no known cure or treatment currently...these are extremely important points you failed to mention?

Hey Javid thank you so much for mentioning this. I had breast cancer in 2017, also lymphnode removal for disection.
Since then I've been very sick. I have had so many skin infections that have left to sepsis. I also have bad hypermobility along with lymphedema. I have brain fog, fatigue, sickness bouts, low grade fevers, lumpy swelling, constant lymphnode swelling, pain, stiffness.
I had arthritis before the breast cancer, I was diagnosed with an over active immune system. I was wondering if this is making my situation worst?

Primary here. Some years have been much worse than others for me. 17 individual courses of antibiotics in one year escalated to MRSA.
At my age (54), I have seen blocks of infections that recur despite promp treatment with antibiotics; gum infections, sinus infections, ear infections, genitourinary infections, skin infections, MRSA, Tuberculosis etc etc etc. Currently on antivirals for my 4th lot of Shingles.
No amount of quality sleep, organic food, vitamin supplementation, healthy living, stress reduction has really helped in any meaningful way, although I am loathed to stop any of these.
Regular privarely funded manual drainage by a professional, kinesiology taping, decent compression garments and daily self-massage are the only things that have improved my quality of life by approximately 20%. The pain, discomfort and general exhaustion are still there unfortunately.

Is it ok to use Lasix to reduce the swelling from the excess fluid?of course, followed with potassium as fluid loss depletes potassium levels.

My lumperderma , is concerning my skin, body continued swelling and redness. Itchy, dry skin. My cancer goes back many years and I wear compression stoking. My fear the form of blood clots . After many years I am not able to function in my normal ways.
My gait is off , cellulitis has flared up again and fluid leaks out. When my legs are elevated the my legs throb, It make feel skin.
I believe I sit to long and do not get tired, lazy, scared. My head and neck feel achy my stomach get unset and I have appetite.
My last week has been stressful and concerning , my visit to emergency give an antibiotics and advised I see my cardiologist who can see me until June. Very upsetting. It’s one week since my emergency room visit, and my condition is questionable?
