Honestly, I can’t put Shane at fault for thinking rick was dead. He literally was at the hospital and didn’t hear a heartbeat on ricks chest, and also watched the city get bombed with napalm while rick was still in it. That’s plenty reason enough to believe he’s dead, but Shane just continued to lose his mind over the whole Lori situation, and it killed him. He could’ve moved on....

I miss Shane so much, he had such a big impact on me and he is my idol. he understood the new world way before anyone else and thats what got him killed. I miss him so much i just stop watching the show after season 2, and i have done that multiple times

For those of you that say Shane would've been a great help against Negan, along with merle. First off, Shane is badass and he is always going to be a badass because he was what he was good at what he did, but he probably would've gotten killed pretty quick by Negan. Second off, Merle would've been a better help cause there is nothing he wouldn't do for his brother and he would probably crush the saviors by joining them and beating them from the inside.

Miss Shane a lot in the walking dead I feel like Shane would of taken better care of lori carl because when rick joined the group Shane was with lori n carl for years then rick comes in then no long intill lori dies but the thing is lori was pregnant and if Shane killed rick then lori would off still died anyway because of the baby but then Shane would struggle then he would probably kill him self in the Carl would of been left with no one
