That is very strange that your real estate agent did not inform you on the official 'ruin' status of the house you liked. But I wish you, guys, to find a house of your dreams! And keep us posted :)
Isn't it? We thought that was strange too, especially because we had planned on seeing another one with her on that same day. She had to cancel that one because it didn't have the right license.
Better renting than buying when you're moving to a new place? Houses are easy to buy but difficult to sell. So if for some reasons you don't like the place later, you're stucked with it.
Don’t be fooled by the cheap price. As a foreigner the cost to renovate is double that of a local. You will be ripped off at every inch of the process often paying for the builders other projects.
In China it's also quite expensive and very hard as a foreigner. Also, here you wouldn't be buying the land to own it. You get to use if for about 70 years.
That last house was pretty nice . Good luck guys !! 💕🇳🇱💕🇳🇱
Yes, it was. We liked it a lot, but it seems like it wasn't meant to be...
Thank you for sharing your experience of house hunting in Portugal. It is interesting to watch.
There'll be more to come!
Welcome to Portugal
Thanks!

I love that first house in the video, excellent to live in, but what kind of job can you get there?
I'll be talking about the work we're planning on doing in a future video.

I am at House #6. No offense, most of the houses are falling apart. M & Y, I don't want to live there even if it is free...! ☹☹☹
No house inspection...? What if the roof cave in...?
In the God we trust
Good luck! I'm still in Germany...
Thanks!

Well that is a lie, like any country you will have scammers and honest people
At least House #8 is livable....
That's what we thought... Did you watch until the end to hear what was wrong with it?
You can get a better deal in the US or China. I live in New York, considering moving to Pennsylvania. But the housing price is too high now.

My wife and I were just in Lisbon last month. I really liked Portugal!
Lisbon has a lot to do and see! We like it too when we were there.
Lisbon, may be, but not here, in the middle of nowhere...! ☹☹☹ Most of houses are falling apart...?!
Good luck!! Portugal is beautiful
Thank you! That's what we think too. It was so pretty driving through the country. Can't wait to see more of it.
