I would probably continue to clean it up and then look over the part's that you aren't exactly happy with their appearance and look for possible upgrade options. I would lean more towards RPM parts. I've done the same with my vehicles and been picky about the terrain I run on. If it looks too rough, I won't run it there. I prefer a short cut grass field like a soccer field or an empty parking lot or something similar.
