- Traxxas REVO 3.3 has reverse but the gears are east to brake so take it easy but if you did brake them gears heres a great video that you can follow and do the repairs

But I’ve seen other videos where it is the servo not going back or forward all the way to the Transmission case. Also those roller bearings inside need a bit of grease. Instructions as well for the Revo 3.3 transmission it shows in the Exploded views to grease the metal gears inside. Opti drive helps as well just in case its shifted into gear when moving.
Well mines broke all plastic gears inside
If it’s “stuck” from broken gears just look at it from above instead of below so you can unscrew it at ease without breaking anything trying to manhandle it or disconnect things yoy don’t need to disconnect
Im starting to think the Tmaxx classic transmission which double the parts inside the Transmission is more durable then the Tmaxx 3.3/Revo 3.3 transmissions.

Can you show how you link the forward/reverse servo bar back? I did the same exact procedure as you but I can't seem to get that part right. Thanks!

Yeah this happned to me soon as I finished braking the engine in but I went hard at it
Yes you did make the mistake you you to a line as you to both halves together, transmission.thats why it wouldn't close all the way when you kept squeeze it together,you have to be more detailed cause it will cause issues for the next man using your video as a guide
It’s been running good I will do more detailed video next time it brakes
Stay away from this overpriced crap of an RC. Major parts failure are made out of cheap plastic.
And engine & plug won't last over 81 hrs of run time.
This is the only thing I didn’t like about revo ima hard bashed it broke on first drive after brake in of engine
@@rcusa201 Got the 1/5 Rovan brand new with remote for less than $155.00.
Instead of buying parts for Revo's transmission & engine.
Then I had it modified by ATG using weedwacker engine.
FYI: once you get the 1/5, you won't go back to Traxxas or any 1/10 high failure parts.
you can get many 1/5s delivery to your door for under $611.00.
i got it for $155 because I once met ATG and Jack Ma.
@@angelisone yeah this revo was disaster with transmission I repaired it once and if it goes again I’m doing it forward only with metal parts
@@rcusa201 I'd like to do the same on the same truck but I can't get no one to answer this question I'd like to use anything to rebuild and not use any plastic in the rebuild if I do upgrade, I stay with the reverse too. I see the kits don't have reverse gear. The kit doesn't say if it's opinional. Thankyou
@@javiersolis9141 yeah u can eliminate the reverse but I like the reverse and if u do rebuild it go metal and if u don’t care leave the reverse it’s just trouble
They are called transmission gears. You should of upgraded to metals ones. Transmission should always be solid. This is part of the reason why I dislike traxxas you invest alot of money into their vehicles and all they give people is plastic bullshit. Yes the part are cheap but it should be quality & not quantity.
