Thanks for the video. It is very detailed and covers most of the main sights. I am traveling to Verona among other cities in Bologna in Apr 2020, and look forward to experiencing this city with my wife and daughter. Hopefully I get to eat as much parma ham :)
That's a great food area to travel to! We have a video on Parma as well (th-cam.com/video/tYxHjZESk-U/w-d-xo.html) and we visit a to-die-for sandwich shop, Pepèn Parma. And, of course, serves parma ham :) Have a lovely time with your family! -Isa
I dont know why but i find this video really lovely i mean i usually dont like people just going places looking all professional like they know everything and then they are eating in some fancy restaurants and these guys were just lovely, not pushy, really enjoying places :)
Haha, I don't think we will ever have to worry about "looking all professional." And although fancy restaurants aren't usually our scene, we do love food so we may wander into one at some point. :) Thanks so much for your kind words. And I'm glad our enjoyment came across in the video. We really did love Verona. -Brian
Thank you, Brian! Planning an Italian trip, I find your videos very useful, informative and beautiful at the same time! Keep up the good job :) and your wife is very cheerful and you're both look kind and cute in a good way :) I'm feeling your positive and calm vibe ^^ Cheers from Russia!
Thank you Polina! We try to be kind and positive all the time, so I'm happy it comes across in the video. :) Thank you for your nice compliments. We hope you have a wonderful day and a great trip to Italy. Let us know if you have any questions. -Brian
Nice video congratulations. I see that you are passionate about art. In Rome there are more than 900 churches and most of them free. An unimaginable artistic heritage.
Oh my goodness what a difficult question because we LOVE Italy! Funny because we're actually back in Italy right now while I'm responding to this comment (you can see our adventures on Instagram if you want). I think my top 3 are Florence, Venice, and then Cinque Terre. Isa says she likes all of Tuscany (she rented a car and drove around there for a week last year and loved it). -Brian
I studied abroad in Verona in the summer of 2016! Legend says that if you touch Juliet’s right breast, it grants you good luck in your love life. That’s why everyone was touching her hahaha, but of course if you didn’t know it seems really strange and rude
Haha, that makes sense. Funny how traditions and legends come about - they do seem so strange and out of place if you don't know about them! That must have been so great to live in Verona for a summer! -Brian
Nice point of view. Have just finished our Verona travel vlog myself and was curious about other travel videos from Verona. Yours is very nice, congrats!
Interesting video! As regards to people taking a pic holding Juliet's breast, it's not disrespectful at all...According to tradition, touching Juliet's statue's right breast is a good luck charm for happiness, love, and fertility. In fact, the statue is the guardian of true love and by touching her bosom someone is guaranteed the luck in love Juliet never had.
I am moving to Verona for a year starting Jan 2018, and I love to see what I should look forward to. Also, checkout my city, Cape Town South Africa, you will need at least two weeks for that.
Yes! We would love to come down to Cape Town! We have heard so many great things about it. Hopefully we can make a trip out there some time soon. -Brian
The card is valid for 24 or 48 hours, so if it's worth it depends on how many sights you can get to in whichever time frame you choose. Make a list of where you want to visit, see if they have free or reduced entry with the Verona card and then check to see if you would pay more for the tickets if you were to buy them individually. Does that make sense? It's a little bit of a process. Just remember, it has to be within the time frame. That's always the catch-trying to fit in everything offered within just one or two days! :) Hope this helps and let us know if you have any more questions! -Isa
Will be going to Verona next month. Should I pre-book tickets to enter sites/attractions eg. Juliet's house? It seems Verona is not as busy or crowded as Rome, just wondering if I can buy tickets on the spot without having to line up for long queues?
I wouldn't pre-book anything, especially in September. Maybe in the summer during the busy season, but it shouldn't be too busy when you're there. We didn't stand in any lines at all for any attractions, so you should be fine buying them on the spot. -Brian
Hi. Lovely video. Just want to ask coz I'll be going to Verona in July. Would you recommend booking for the hop on off bus or walking tour or bike tour? I just to make the most out of Verona. My friends and I will arrive on July 5 then leave on July 7. So technically, we have 1 whole day to explore the city. Hope to hear from you guys. Thanks.
We wouldn't recommend the bus, since a lot of the places you want to get to are easier to access on foot. The town is small, so you can walk the entire thing easily. We walked over 30,000 steps here though (because we zig-zagged around), so if you're not used to walking a lot, the bike tour may be your best bet. Have fun! -Brian
Yes. We didn't go to the dolomites, so we can't tell you the best way to do it, but I found at least one option from viator: www.viator.com/tours/Verona/Dolomites-Semi-Private-Day-Trip-from-Verona/d945-6476P20
Is the main city centre far from the airport? Like is it walking distance? I’d be arriving way before my check in time and was curious if it’s easy to stroll around with my small luggage all day?
Yes, like Stefano said, take the shuttle in. The train station where the bus drops you off is at the south end of Verona. From there, it'll be about a 15-minute walk to Piazza Bra and the Arena. You should have no problem walking around with a small piece of luggage. Have fun! -Brian

Verona people should try then forget this Romeo and Juliet thing cos it a kind of a normal love of two people..
