We had no idea what to expect from this beautiful Italian city, but we were pleasantly surprised by Verona and ended up having an amazing time in this city. It was the perfect first official stop of our 10-week Italian trip!

I'm Italian, luckily I can travel the world and experience new cultures. Traveling around the world I understood what many Italians don't understand, Italy is without a doubt the best country in the world to live in. The quality of life in Italy is the best possible. Now I understand why many Italians go to England or Germany to have a better job, but let me explain why just as many Englishmen but above all Germans, Dutch etc. come to live in Italy. If you have an income, living in Italy is the best! Thank you god for letting me be born in Italy!

don't think that you can gain weight, in ITALY you lose weight, for a series of reasons, because you eat healthy, not just pasta and pizza, the raw materials are of excellent quality and above all, as all tourists can confirm, you walk a lot, after a hearty lunch, Italians do the traditional "PASSEGGIATA", we are not a fat people 🤣

We stopped in Mid-October on thw way back from a few days in Venice, to Como.... We will be back and spend days. Loved it.

I'm from Verona...the GNOCCHI is the best food in the world. Homemade gnocchi with homemade tomato sauce and Grana cheese on top 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀After the gnocchi there is the always ultra typical "RISOTTO AL TASTASAL" (rice with minced meat). I go crazy! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
We had Verona's gnocchi with tomato sauce in a little trattoria in one of the residential neighborhoods outside the city. It was so delicious!! Also, I think it was 500 grams of gnocchi, so we couldn't move afterwards 😂 we're going to show it in a video at the very end of our journey through Italy 🇮🇹

Hi! :) So happy to hear you're going to Italy ❤️ We don't use e-sim cards. We have an International plan with our US carrier (T-Mobile) so we don't need SIM cards when we travel. Sorry we can't help with this one 😖

Planning a trip to Italy for three weeks( 10 weeks must be heaven) . Any suggestions on whether you did hotels or Airbnb’s and how you searched for them? Ty
We always do Airbnbs because we tend to stay in places a bit longer and like to have a little kitchen. They do have a lot of nice B&B and boutique hotels that have decent prices around the city centers. I don't know if I have any secrets about how to find them, I just filter for the cost per night that fits our price range and then just poke around. Have fun!

Surprised no one ever told you. Particularly when you smile/laugh, could be twins. She played a Latina ( I believe you're of Latin ethnicity?) in West Side Story and that play was based on Romeo & Juliet which is set in Verona. Coincidence? @@waysoftheworld_
Those folk musics aren't italian, but italo-american, and are based on Sicilian music from the late nineteenth century, which has nothing to do with Verona. Each region here has its own traditional music.
We have limited options to the music we can use here on TH-cam because of copywriting. But good to know this music will be "appropriate" for our upcoming Sicily videos :)

Not impressed. Lots of old buildings, a couple of places to eat. Where are the scenic places in Verona, the parks, the waterways, the open areas where people relax, people's homes and gardens and yards? The city has to be more than narrow crowded sreets.
