I know the family that lives in Romeo’s house and they HATE the tourists peaking through the gates hahah
I didn't see a gate there, it's a pretty high wall. That's pretty cool that you know the owners though :)
The Intrepid Guide What I meant is the tourists sometimes wait in front of the garage to peak when it opens! Haha and I absolutely LOVED your video ❤️ Such good content!
Maite Sa Oh! haha Yeah, that's not cool. Thank you so much! I'm SO happy you liked the video 😀
Beautiful. I hope to visit again and stay longer.
I hope so too! :)

Truly amazing Michele is your guide.love you from 🇮🇳
Thank you so much, Taruba :)
Great videos you got! Quick question from Venice to Verona, and from there to Sirmione and Bergamo no need to get tickets in advance right? Can buy them as we go? Since are local trains I got the idea that does not require to get it in advance as with main cities
Greetings from South Africa, Michele you were born to do great video's like this, tanks so much. I am in awe, absolutely!, I am a poor man, never toured outside of Southern Africa. I shall visit Verona in my dreams.
I’m so happy to hear you enjoyed it😀 Thank you 😊 I hope you can visit one day
@@theintrepidguide Aaah thanks for replying Michele. I am so excited that you have spared the time for me to reply. Best wishes for your lovely future.
I've been to Verona a couple of times and actually prefer it over Florence. Its just visually more appealing to me.
I haven't been to either but I was just thinking i'd probably prefer Verona over Florence.
Fabulous!!! Thank you for this, was in Verona last month for 3 days but was unable to get around to everything so this was fantistic to be able to watch. Great info and LOVE yr accent, makes a nice change from all the Americans >;-) Off now to see more of your videos to see where I might like to visit next. (y) (y)
Thank you so much, Denise! I really appreciate your kind words :) You've made my day! :)
amazing
Thank you 😊
Ciao
Grazie mille 😀
Nice information , appreacatied your job
Thank you 😊
Wonderful
Thank you! :)
Nice
Cracking!
tks
Well done. Multi bene!
Grazie mille, Jason 😀
Hi Michelle.
Thanks again for another brilliant entry.
A couple of questions though.
1. Is it just an elevator to reach the top of the tower or are you able to take the stairs?
2. Why do so many tourists rub the right book of Juliet's statue?
3. Regarding Madonna della Corona. Did you go via Spiazzi or did you do il passeggio della misericordia?
Thanks again, keep them up (when you can) 😊
Hi Rosanna, glad you enjoyed it. Here are the answers.
1. I’m not 100% sure. I took the elevator because I had a very heavy backpack
2. It’s a bring good luck, according to folklore
3. I parked the car at the top in Spiazzi and walked down the winding road from the main township
Hope this helps 😉
Nice video, thank you, how many days do you recommend to stay in Verona?
Grazie Margarita, there's a lot to see, I recommend at least 3 full days, but 5 days is better
Beautiful
Glad you enjoyed the video :)

Aww thank you 🙏

Prego 😊
I have not given myself enough days to do all I want to do in Verona.. I haven’t arrived yet but I already know I need another trip to Verona 😂
You’re delightful. My wife and I are thinking seriously of retiring to Verona, not least because transportation to other parts of Europe where our daughters live seems easy. Do you visit the UK, Paris and Vienna? Thanks!
La mia città ❤️
Hoping to visit Verona this coming August for a concert at Arena di Verona. But who knows when we can travel? thanks for nice introduction to Verona!
Thank you so much for watching. It's definitely worth the wait. Fingers crossed we can all travel again very soon. You can use this time to start learning Italian. I created a travel Italian course you can check out here bit.ly/IntrepidItalianCourse
You should go to Garda Lake too(Malxesine,Riva del Garda)!!and Venice of course!!
Fun fact about piazza dei signori
Behind Dante there is a statue of one of my family's ancent relatives (that beeing fracastoro) so if you visti remember to say hi
That’s so cool! 🤩
@@theintrepidguide thanks
Io che abito in quella città posso dire che é bellissima
Just want to ask what transportation did you use?
Amazing! I hoe someday i could go there too :)
Thanks Stephanie :) It's a wonderful city and there a lot of beautiful place in the region too :)
I want to go thereeeeeee
It's a beautiful city. Hopefully you can visit soon. Until then, you can always start planning :)
@@theintrepidguide but it's so expensive haha, need to work super and really really hard.
Nice video but just to let you know you made a mistake about San Zeno Basilica. The crypt was not the place of marriage in Shakespeare's play it was only in the film.
Piacevole sentirti parlare in italiano 😊
Grazie mille.
Is there any way to reach santuario Madonna Della corona from Verona arena? I m here for one day trip from Milan. Thanks in advance
Unfortunately not. You need a car 😞

Hi Margaret, the Verona Card is the first result in this list bit.ly/Verona-Card :)
I would love to attend a concert at the Arena. Is there a schedule or concert ticket site I can score 3 tickets for 1st week in august?
You will need to check the arena website 😊
@@theintrepidguide thank you I went to your website after I posted the question about the arena website. Wish me luck!
Grazie per aver mostrato la mia amata città ❤️. Un solo appunto, la bellissima Sirmione è in provincia di Brescia.
Grazie a te 😊
Considering a week long trip this September. Flying into Milan and possibly staying in Verona to use as home-base. This should put us close enough to Venice for day-tripping. What are your recommended sites to include? We prefer to use trains, buses or other means of mass transit. Thank you for a great video!
Thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed it :D Do you mean recommended sites in Verona? It really depends on what you like to do but I recommend everything in this video :)
