Kyogre and Groudon literally change the earth by showing up and this is seen in game. Huge quantities of the lions are killed by the floods and volcanic destruction alone. Like the legendaries just based on what we can physically see them do to the planet throughout the series would be enough. By their very nature dialga, palkia, and giritina should be able to basically do it alone. They dont have to use moves to manipulate the world around them. This also seems to underestimate the destructive power of moves. This seems to be assuming its 1v1s but if you had a large group of lions and say Pikachu rains down a thunderbolt or two thats not going to take out a single lion thats going to have huge effects on the entire field. I also stuggle with the idea that lions could ever kill steel type pokemon. If a lion bites down on a magnemite with static that is in fact a lion that is now paralyzed and dying of hunger while the little steel magnet boy just continues obliviously floating around unfazed.

If so I understand you clearly only meant mainline series games but that then begs the question on why Dialga and Palkia don’t work together to reset reality? I mean they were going to do that in the Sinnoh mainline story games weren’t they?
If we look according to games basically kyogre alone ohko's and if according to anime...a lot of pokemon can fly and attack the lions and just go away when they get tired
And what if you remove the limitation of Pokémon only being able to attack one target and have them be able to attack as many as they want with any moves?
question seeing as you are using mainline game logic to answer this question would your opinion change if instead of a one vs one battle system if instead the battle system was more like mystery dungeon? Because in reality the fight would not be orderly or clean cut but instead an all out brawl where a move light thunder could one shot multiple opponent at once.
The problem with the simulation, is that almost every pokemon has a speed stat above 25, and if they are level 100, with the lions being level 17, the lions will never outspeed the pokemon. This means that the lions will never get a single hit in on a pokemon faster than them, if the pokemon has infinite pp. Take Appletun for example. It has 30 base speed, which is already double the lions, and with the level difference, no matter how bad its nature or Ivs are, it will always outspeed the lions. Have it hold a leppa berry, give it recycle, and any attacking move, and it could kill every single lion itself.
One point I would like to make. This is to stop 'what if the Lion did this' bullshit. This would be Canon, fucking Canon Pokemon vs canon lions. What I mean by canon lions, is how they act in real life. And as you know real life lions aren't able to do the be things you guys say fanon lions do.
While I do appreciate the more analytical approach taken in this video, the way the pokemon are simulated puts them at an unfair disadvantage. For the sake of simplification you made it into a numbers game, 1 pokemon using their strongest attack against 1 lion using its strongest attack. But the pokemon's strength lies in strategy and outstanding individuals, not numbers. In the 1v1 format, a funbro set could easily solo the whole billion. And if the 1v1 format was abandoned in favor of a free for all, any ghost type whose move's pp adds up to more than 56(scratch's pp) can struggle stall the lions. This is all still ignoring dex entries, because if they aren't ignored then Yveltal wins by default, "When its life comes to an end, it absorbs the life energy of every living thing and turns into a cocoon once more." -Alpha Saphire dex entry
im pretty sure any Pokémon with the harvest ability to infinitely spawn leppa berries absolutely dominates, and it's extremely improbable to miss a 50% roll 10 times in a row to miss the chance (plus just use sunny day to make it 100% lol) lions lose to tropius, trevenent, Exeggutor, and basically any Pokémon with recycle as well

You could also just starve the lions too death.
Well.... Not exactly if the pokemon truly have infinite PP than any ghost type would kill a billion lions. As it was stated all the lion has the move scratch wich is a normal move and of course ghost are immune to.
The pokedex is not wrong, we have seen what is described there multiple times, the reason they didn't die to marcago is because 1. It is it's body temperature, the heat doesn't matter if it doesn't spread enough. 2. Humans can survive pokemon attacks. 3. Pokemon can hold back their powers. And your other examples over it are weird as well, like, why does knocking mountains or jumping the eifel tower sound weird? We have seen pokemon move at extreme speeds, jump very high, and even cause massive explosions, hell in the manga a dragonair nuked a city and a drifloon caused a mountain dwarfing explosion, in the anime pikachu destroyed a small mountain early in his journey, piplup created a massive whirlpool, buneary froze a lake and sunk a ship too, that just shows what they can do, not what they fo all the time And yes, the anime and manga are canon to the games, we got evidence on that. Anyway yeah, using game marchanics made explicitly to have a balanced match, while translating lions as pokemon obviously gives lions the wins, but using real logic and information, a lot of pokemon would solo them Even team rocket's meowth would solo the lions unironically
Bro with your logic: - A Slowbro with Recycle, Recover and Leppa Berry solos all the lions - Any ghost type with infinite PP solos the lions - Any Fighting Pokemon with infinite PP solos all the lions seriously how does a machamp with infinite pp die to any amount of level 17 lions if it can go first and ohko the lions before the lions can strike back
infinite pp won’t exist even in lorebase.. maybe arceus cause he’s a god but machamp still has its limits can’t be fighting 24hrs a day for years.. it will run out of energy eventually *pp*
Also, fire types, every single one of them Can control their temperature I get that this info is like 26 years old and was only mentioned once and only in the anime BUT THIS SHOULD BE COMMON SENSE HOW DO THESE PEOPLE THINK,A SUNKERN SURVIVES A HEAT CRASH FROM GROUDON Yes its not gonna happen, groudon isnt gonna jump onto a sunkern AN EMBOAR MIGHT SUNKERN STILL AINT DYING
Im pretty sure being close to somthing that hot would kill you, i mean just being close to a garbage fire was a bit to hot for me imagine something as hot as the surface of the sun
As a shedinja strat user you need a random pokemon with sturdy a mew and a shedinja So first turn mew gets sturdy shedinja uses a random move and the pokemon that had sturdy uses earthquake Second turn you make shedinja undestructeble by giving it sturdy Or they are all dead cuz of earthquake
This is what I hate about these kind of videos. Sure, the Pokémon can't win... When there's no strategy. I don't care how advanced this simulation is, it's not using strategy. You're just mindlessly throwing attacks out. This is the only video I've seen with only one from each side out at once. Every single other video about this topic (regardless of the winning side) has had all Pokémon and all lions out at once and everyone saw this as the most even option. So it's clear that's the more popular option. But this may seem worse for the Pokémon. Well, ever hear of spread moves? Moves that can hit all opponents? And know how many Pokémon get spread moves? I don't the actual number, but a lot. Also claiming Magcargo isn't hotter than the sun doesn't mean the entire Pokédex is wrong and you can therefore exclude that from the video. I'd like to see you try to disprove Arceus being the Pokémon God. Disprove Palkia and Dialga have control over space and time respectively.
Excuse me excuse me yes, Arceus is fucking god, Steelix is made out of actual steel, Kyogre can flood the entire planet and most Pokemon can cause mass extinction easily. a lion is a big cat who sometimes goes hungry because they cannot catch a fast gazelle. The debate was finished before it started
Thats using pokedex entries again, in the end you can defeat any pokemon with another pokemon that higher level and has decent moves so even a ratata or a magicarp can defeat god. If they can be defeated by a 9 year old then they arnt that good imo
The thing is, pokemon will always have new pokemon, so at a certain point, the pokemon will win at certain point in time, once you reach it, you can never turn back
Even if we only go by what we SEE in the anime and games.. the lions lose instantly because of Pokemon Emerald. Or ghost pokemon.. like just one ghost pokemon, it'd take a long time.. but just one ghost pokemon
Mewtwo can learn both Recover and Recycle. Give it a Leppa berry at the start of the fight, and let it sweep through all one billion lions solo. The lions will never out-damage recover, even with the pauses to use Recycle, so Mewtwo just has to grind away at a billion of them.
the problem with this type of scaling is that video game pokemon are made to be more balanced due to that fact that the game makers dont want every running around with 6 mewtwos and destorying everyone and the pokemon anime is made for kids so they obviously arent gonna have the whole gang fucking die so the poke dex is really the only reliable source
Pokedex is the only reliable source: - Gardevoir makes a black hole to protect it's trainer, killing the trainer and destroying the whole world. - Wailord according to it's volume and density should be lighter than air floating to the atmosphere like a balloon, impossible to submerge under water. - Tyranitar's body can't be harmed by any sort of attack, so Pokemons can't damage it in any way, doesn't matter that it has x4 weakness against fight type, it can't be harmed. - Trainers with Victini always win, doesn't matter against who, it's impossible to be defeated. Yeah... About the Pokedex being reliable...
Name one time in the anime victini lost See the celebi movie for tyranitar Warlord is famous for his move bounce making him fly into the air And gardvoir could very well be able to make black holes heck even in real life making black holes is possible it’s just useless
@@bobydocky9641 How can a black hole protect her trainer? It either destroys the whole world and the trainer with it, or it's completely useless and disintegrates instantly. Also I'm not talking about anime since it has a lot of nonsenses too and the story was originally based from the games.
@@Max_Power_ even a black hole that would disintegrate instantly would be usable just a matter of how and there a theoretical size where you could disintegrate a Persians upper body or remove all air from the lungs while still not having enough mass to grow and (live?) etc. and as for the anime not making sense sure but neither do the games the only Pokémon media that even makes some sense is the tcg since it doesn’t really have lore
Can't use game mechanics, by that logic 1000 plushies could beat a Nuclear missile. You gotta go by dex, anime or the manga. In any of them, the pokemon will DEMOLISH.
Hell you could limit yourself to only game cutscene feats and still win for the Pokémon. It really says a lot that in order for lions to win in any version basically every Pokemon ability must be taken away from the Pokemon and even still the lions can still lose
Some dex entries may be exaggerated a litte honestly. Either that or the pokemon worlds just built different. Yeah probably that i mean if slugma can exist and ponyta can make its flames not hurt its rider than going by dex entries dialga *ALONE* wipes the lions, hell, dialga and palkia nearly destroyed numerous universes as a *byproduct* of there battle
i am 8 months late but in the pokemon anime when there is a hot pokemon they say that it doesnt hurt the ones they trust for example when ash wanted to ride ponita first he fire hurt but then the ponita trusted him and it wasnt hot anymore maybe magacrgo lowered his temprature
@@DistractedCoderI mean there is an argument that Macargo can control its heat since we know fire types can control there flames temperatures which is why Ponyta and Rapidash can be ridden. Also if you are going to complain about the anime invalidati no the Pokédex then at least use anime feats because technically speaking if we were to exclude the anime there is nothing actually stopping the Pokédex entries from the games from being technically true. Of course this doesn’t matter cause Dialga and Palkia can reset the universe which is a game cutscene feat so it is definitely cannon!!
Easy explanation Rayquaza runs away and the lions cannot harm him meaning the Pokémon are not all dead yet and the lions will starve and be dead because science and stuff. You,sir have just been disproved
Running away doesn’t equal a surrender that’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard I guess when a single soldier backs up a country gives up a war huh I guess when someone is wounded and is taken to a medic station they surrender like seriously running away isn’t a surrender Second yep my bad it’s pp regeneration thought it said
The reason I think Pokémon would win because we got eternamax eternatus, Primal Kyogre, Primal Groudon, Mega Rayquaza, Arceus, 100% form Zygarde, ultra Necrozma, Sun form Necrozma, moon form Necrozma, Yveltal, Palkia, Giratina, Dialga, thunderous, tornadus, landerous, enamorus, UNbound Hoopa. just these Pokemon could take out them
How does the lions attack flying Pokemon? I didn’t know they could fly… The games are a dog water way to simulate this. PP, move limit, turn based attacks etc. all only exists for game balance. If you could obtain the actual legendary and mythical Pokémon in the games you’d literally be completely untouchable in every battle.
Everyone be chillin until necrozma eats the sun. it isnt even a pokedex thing in lore the dimension of ultra megaopolix (I think that's the name) is our universe in size and necrozma consumed all the light in the universe including stars
Alright here's one argument and be aware I am not a mathematician, it could actually be something like 10^204 and I'm just really bad at math Over three hundred Pokemon learn helping hand, and the bonuses multiply each other for example a 100 power move boosted by 2 helping hands first gets boosted by 50% so 150 then the next boost is improving it to 225 since that's 150% of 150 So have Kyogre use water spout with the boost of that many helping hands, Water Spout is a Spread move so it will hit ALL the lions at once, and have Grafaiai use Doodle on Stonjurner so ALL Pokemon without any "special abilities" like disguise or hunger switch give 30% boost each to Kyogre, Kyogre doesn't boost themselves though. Now we can have Oranguru use Instruct to make it after Kyogre uses the steroid boosted a second time and Smeargle can copy that so it happens 3 times We can also have a Prankster Riolu set up wide guard to block priority effects, then Greninja with Mat Block to protect all Pokemon from all damaging effects and Klefki with Crafty Shield to block all non damaging effects This would basically make it at least 10^64 damage, and that doesn't include the 2 uses of Instruct, for scale 1 billion is 10^12 and the amount of DNA base pairs in the world is around 10^37, the amount of seconds that ticked down since the start of time is 10^20 To know how big 10^64 looks, a cheat is when doing 10^X write a 1 and follow it with X 0s So the damage would be a 1 followed by over 64 0s x3
this is genuinely the dumbest calc i've seen for this argument any move like surf earthquake rock slide blizzard etc. would hit ALL THE LIONS as that is the nature of those moves so already even with ingame pokemon they stand no chance. edit: now that i think about it treating the lions like pokemon is already a huge buff so that means they couldn't even touch the pokemon without said buff showing this argument is pointless cause the pokemon win 1000% no matter what
We’ll if instead we used the anime as the reference for each Pokémons power level then I think we should all know that arceus would delete all of the lions within seconds
It's actually shown in game that Pokemon like Rayquaza can destroy planet wiping meteors and Pokemon like Eternatus can affect other creatures on a countrywide scale. Even more consistently, Z-moves like Continental Crush and Black Hole Eclipse show that Pokemon can survive a lot more than a mountain level attack. Plus, if we're using the anime as a debunk, then Pokemon like Gardevoir are able to summon black holes. Pokemon is a fantastical series, so throwing out all Pokedex entries as being inaccurate, just so you can use stats instead, when the games, manga and anime show how powerful Pokemon really are kinda sucks.
What about 1billion of every species of animal, plant, bacteria, etc to ever exist on the planet vs every pokemon that doesn't have medical powers/special abilities?!
No just no If we just assume it like this then 1 earthquake does the trick Like this is very flawed if there all on the field at once earthquake hits all and there’s all 1 shot if it’s 1v1 then there all out sped I don’t know how you done this but like if you knew even slightly to do with Pokémon you’d know they win and if the lions only have scratch how the hell would they damage ghost and how the hell would they kill a shedninja like they can’t due to its ability it’ll never die unless super effective and giving them a dark type move wouldn’t be 1 billion lions anymore Like just no in every way
7:31 I have a strategy rooted in collaboration between Pokémon. Can you simulate this? (Copy Paste from the OBJECTION! Video) By the way, No Time Travel required because people tend to ban that anyhow. OBJECTION! Edgeworth. My arguments: Cooperation & Mewtwo’s Awakened Form, Xerneas & Leepa Berries, Limits of Arceus & Lastly The Darkest Day. I welcome any counterarguments. Pokémon would be able to strategize against the lions. Mewtwo can ‘Awaken’ into Mega Y without a trainer. This is the same Mega form that told many, many Pokémon about Dark Matter. Unlike in Super though, the Lions can’t petrify the Pokémon unless you count Mean Look, which can terrify but can’t turn anyone or anything to stone. For the PP Argument, Dialga, Celebi and Xerneas can farm Leepa Berries for the others. Arceus could also make some as needed because Arceus can create something from nothing. On that note, however, I will acknowledge that Arceus doesn’t have all 1,000 arms unless we say that more than one of every form of Unown are all allowed. Same for Eternatus if you’re into theories. Speaking of Eternatus, I won’t spoil Sword and Shield plot here but I do have something to say. Gigantamax and Climate Change. Nuff Said.
Bro you forgot some Pokémon can destory earth without a scratch and that there a mode call hoards where spread atk exist where you can hit every lion in one battle
Remember this is following the games Think of Pidgeot just flying and coming down when needed Or Gengar being invisible until it wants to attack Gyarados flying while shooting hydro pump you need? How about Gigantamax Charizard burning like quite a bit of the lions Arceus is just ya know
i know this is very simplified I just wanted to point out that if we're doing infinite PP, and leftovers already made the lions lose, recover, synthesis and the likes would too
No matter what you say their are 4 gods that in every piece of material including the games created the universe and keep it stable. Also darkrai can scale near dialga and palkia. So that's 4 universal + Pokemon and a universal arceus
They're forgetting abilities, and status moves. Mat Block will literally let the lions do nothing. Electric Tera Shedinja with an Air Ballon cannot be hit, even without the air balloon, as the lions don't know any ground attacks. EVEN IF you didn't these, the pokemon can still do Z-Moves. Also, why is this in singles!? I don't think the lions will be like, "Okay, so Lion#273 is up now, so I'm going to go as soon as he dies." If this wasn't (as I believe it should be), you could use multiple helping hands on a spread move (Water Spout on Kyogre), Role Plays on Charjabug and Stonejourner, which have the abilities Battery and Power Spot, and Araquanid use Entrainment, to give Kyogre the ability Water Bubble. You could then also Tera Kyogre, making the base power be (Helping Hands*1.5)*(Role Plays*1.3)*2. Then you can set up rain, you do STAB, oh, and if Prankster Riolu used Mat Block and Klefki used Crafty Shield, the lions can't touch them! (This is all coming from WolfeyVGC's video, by the way, I didn't come up with any of this except for the Tera.)

Imagine looking at God and saying “Nah but Lions beat God”
The problem with the simulation, is that almost every pokemon has a speed stat above 25, and if they are level 100, with the lions being level 17, the lions will never outspeed the pokemon. This means that the lions will never get a single hit in on a pokemon faster than them, if the pokemon has infinite pp. Take Appletun for example. It has 30 base speed, which is already double the lions, and with the level difference, no matter how bad its nature or Ivs are, it will always outspeed the lions. Have it hold a leppa berry, give it recycle, and any attacking move, and it could kill every single lion itself.
I think you're the first person to mention speed. In mine, the attacks both happen simultaneously
I said this because every other video was more than a year old
While I do appreciate the more analytical approach taken in this video, the way the pokemon are simulated puts them at an unfair disadvantage. This is all still ignoring dex entries, because if they aren't ignored then Yveltal wins by default, "When its life comes to an end, it absorbs the life energy of every living thing and turns into a cocoon once more."
-Alpha Saphire dex entry
im pretty sure any Pokémon with the harvest ability to infinitely spawn leppa berries absolutely dominates, and it's extremely improbable to miss a 50% roll 10 times in a row to miss the chance (plus just use sunny day to make it 100% lol)

You could also just starve the lions too death.
Well.... Not exactly if the pokemon truly have infinite PP than any ghost type would kill a billion lions. As it was stated all the lion has the move scratch wich is a normal move and of course ghost are immune to.
The pokedex is not wrong, we have seen what is described there multiple times, the reason they didn't die to marcago is because
We have seen pokemon move at extreme speeds, jump very high, and even cause massive explosions, hell in the manga a dragonair nuked a city and a drifloon caused a mountain dwarfing explosion, in the anime pikachu destroyed a small mountain early in his journey, piplup created a massive whirlpool, buneary froze a lake and sunk a ship too, that just shows what they can do, not what they fo all the time
And yes, the anime and manga are canon to the games, we got evidence on that.
Anyway yeah, using game marchanics made explicitly to have a balanced match, while translating lions as pokemon obviously gives lions the wins, but using real logic and information, a lot of pokemon would solo them

Pokedex is the only reliable source:
- Gardevoir makes a black hole to protect it's trainer, killing the trainer and destroying the whole world.

But how can the lions kill ghost types
All it would take is one helping hand to kyogre and then primordial sea. It hits ALL of the lions. Instant kill
While there are definitely some flaws, this is still a very cool simulation. I really like what you made here.
Rayquaza living in the upper atmosphere and even space htf are the lions going to attack it?
Wouldn't literally any ghost just kill everything with infinite pp? Scratch can't touch them
Alright here's one argument and be aware I am not a mathematician, it could actually be something like 10^204 and I'm just really bad at math
Over three hundred Pokemon learn helping hand, and the bonuses multiply each other for example a 100 power move boosted by 2 helping hands first gets boosted by 50% so 150 then the next boost is improving it to 225 since that's 150% of 150
So have Kyogre use water spout with the boost of that many helping hands, Water Spout is a Spread move so it will hit ALL the lions at once, and have Grafaiai use Doodle on Stonjurner so ALL Pokemon without any "special abilities" like disguise or hunger switch give 30% boost each to Kyogre, Kyogre doesn't boost themselves though.
Now we can have Oranguru use Instruct to make it after Kyogre uses the steroid boosted a second time and Smeargle can copy that so it happens 3 times
We can also have a Prankster Riolu set up wide guard to block priority effects, then Greninja with Mat Block to protect all Pokemon from all damaging effects and Klefki with Crafty Shield to block all non damaging effects
This would basically make it at least 10^64 damage, and that doesn't include the 2 uses of Instruct, for scale 1 billion is 10^12 and the amount of DNA base pairs in the world is around 10^37, the amount of seconds that ticked down since the start of time is 10^20
To know how big 10^64 looks, a cheat is when doing 10^X write a 1 and follow it with X 0s
So the damage would be a 1 followed by over 64 0s x3
Wow, if this ever happens in real life, I'm electing you as leader of the Pokemon side. Definitely sounds plausible but I'm not simulating that.

this is genuinely the dumbest calc i've seen for this argument any move like surf earthquake rock slide blizzard etc. would hit ALL THE LIONS as that is the nature of those moves so already even with ingame pokemon they stand no chance.
edit: now that i think about it treating the lions like pokemon is already a huge buff so that means they couldn't even touch the pokemon without said buff showing this argument is pointless cause the pokemon win 1000% no matter what
Flying type Pokémon be like: let us introduce ourselves
The question was already answered when wolfeyvgc posted the video about this topic

OBJECTION!

Gyarados flying while shooting hydro pump you need?
How about Gigantamax Charizard burning like quite a bit of the lions

what about the pokemon that fly how does a lion kill them
i know this is very simplified I just wanted to point out that if we're doing infinite PP, and leftovers already made the lions lose, recover, synthesis and the likes would too
No matter what you say their are 4 gods that in every piece of material including the games created the universe and keep it stable.
