Same here!!! just yesterday my best friend and I had plans to hang out and go to town and walk around their park because I don’t get out much. She made excuses of well it’s really hot outside and she got me to actually take that it was more my idea to cancel that plan and I said OK I’ll tell you what we won’t go to the park but why don’t you come over here and we can just hang out on my back porch in the evening. I’m one of the lucky people in our apartment area. That actually has a back porch area and it faces to where you can watch the sunset. I waited around for a few hours for her to come over until finally I said you know what forget it. I’ll go back out there myself and just enjoy the sunset myself and after I messaged her, it was probably a good 30 minutes and suddenly there she was she went over to her real best friends house and had spent the evening over there even though she said she was going to come over and spend time with me. And her and I had to talk about Me having issues with her doing that. Like I don’t mind you having other friends, but don’t cancel plans with me so you can spend time with them. The bad part is she tried to lie about it. But I had proof that she had been gone so she couldn’t lie. Then she gets upset when I say I’m the last resort friend. I am the friend she comes to when everybody else is busy. And I’ve been letting her son use my car so he can get to and from work for, several months now. And she doesn’t even care that once this friendship ends that car is not going to be there for him to use. I’m not that nice of a person. I wish I knew was never good enough and why people just constantly just use me

My Best friend of 7 years goasted me about a year ago, and it was hitting hard the other day. I don't care that she left, she was manipulative, but the memories keep coming back to me and I feel it was my fault even though I know it wasn't. Helped so much! it's hurts knowing that's a 9+ year friendship has come to an end. I felt like I was fighting to keep it because of the number of years we've known each other. I really needed to hear this. I'm still trying to deal with loosing my friend. She joined our class in third year of high school and we immediately hit it off. I felt like I found a friend for a lifetime, but in fourth year (there are currently four years of high school in my country) we started to argue and there was some kind of compatibility issue - I was being unintentionally somewhat rude, because that's how I'm communicating with my close friends, and she became easily offended. We had a massive argument over something I said (irrelevant imo) and that was the last time we sent messages to each other, it was six months ago, two months after we exchanged our last words and I haven't seen her ever since. I know it wouldn't last if I had stayed myself and I don't want to change, the rest of my friends really like me for who I am, but I am still trying to deal with it. Sometimes she appears in my dreams and we are reuniting and I feel like my past is haunting me. I hope it'll get better
Ty. Literally 2 hours ago I lost a semi-big group of friends for an action I wasn’t proud of, and now I’m alone again. It’s hard because 4 of them were ones that got me through my depression, but now I don’t have them anymore. Guilt is eating me alive, so this helped ease the pain. I know I’m not a bad person, but I always felt like one and now it’s true that I am.
I literally might cry. I thought I found my forever besties but ig not. Since 6th started they’ve gotten so many new friends and faded away from me. We had a twin day, nobody matched w me. I feel so bad for this girl in my grade. Last year I was so close with this friend group, that was lasting for about 5 years. I always didn’t feel a real connection with them because we would always get into fights even though I did nothing wrong, they would always call me a lair, mean, etc. But since I’m a sensitive person and a people pleaser it was hard. But this one girl would always tell me that they weren’t the right people but I never believed her. This other girl always sat with us at tables but we wouldn’t really talk to her. Now, I’m out of that friendship and I’m actually very relived, I felt controlled, and scared of them. I’m best friends with both of those people and I could never be happier.

When I was in grade one it was terrible. I met these grade 6 girls and I thought they were so nice. I had no other friends and I hung out with them whenever I got to. One day my mom said I can’t hang out with them but I can say hi. I didn’t care because they were so fun and even got me a gift for my birthday. At the end of the year I hung out with new friends and almost forgot about my older friends. When I was in grade three they left for high school and I really wish I could see them again. This really helped…I Had a lot of good friends, Best friends and we all sat at a lunch table together and one by one each one left to go to this one table. First one left because she kept leaving me out of things and she left to go see her theater friends, then one left because the first girl broke her leg and she needed help carrying her things and she told me “I like that table, I wanna stay there” then then 2 girls sat at a different table (not the one the other two went to) and one sat there first and invited the other to sit there and then they permanently sat there. So my other friend, was offered to sit there by the second friend and she sat there and she also loved it there and said she wants to stay there a the table. The last one, the one that said she would be by my side left. I went to Disney and it was a 2 person table and she didn’t wanna be alone at lunch so she said “I’ll sit there until you come back” and promised she would stay. I texted her and she got more quiet. Then when I was in the car I said “So your coming back to our table?” And she said “…” and I was confused then she said “to be honest with you I am staying there” I was completely heartbroken, I lost all of my friends because of that table. I felt like everything was gone and I was very dissapointed because all of the people I cared about in life just dropped me. I felt worthless. But this video did help a lot!

Omg thank you! I have a sad story. So i made this friend on vacation and we were really close. We made so many sand castles and holes at the beach, we texted for a while until he stopped answering me. I kept trying to text him and keep him in my life until I started to tell myself “I don’t even need to be friends with this kid.” So I stopped texting him for like a week, but that phase quickly ended. So I kept texting him and trying to start conversations but I was lucky if I got an “ok,” or “good.” So one day I decided that enough was enough and that I was spending too much time trying to maintain our friendship. So just to make sure we were on the same page I texted him “are we good?” He replied “nuh uh.” So the. I ended it with the right then and there I said back “well ok bye!” And then 5 minutes later I thought I needed to say one last thing. “Nice knowin ya!” And that’s the last thing I’ve said to him. After that I was really sad because we were really close in person but when I saw this video, i realized we weren’t meant to be friends and that if it was that hard to maintain the friendship, it wasn’t right. My Best friend of 7 years goasted me about a year ago, and it was hitting hard the other day. I don't care that she left, she was manipulative, but the memories keep coming back to me and I feel it was my fault even though I know it wasn't. I really needed to hear this. I'm still trying to deal with loosing my friend. She joined our class in third year of high school and we immediately hit it off. I felt like I found a friend for a lifetime, but in fourth year (there are currently four years of high school in my country) we started to argue and there was some kind of compatibility issue - I was being unintentionally somewhat rude, because that's how I'm communicating with my close friends, and she became easily offended. We had a massive argument over something I said (irrelevant imo) and that was the last time we sent messages to each other, it was six months ago, two months after we exchanged our last words and I haven't seen her ever since. I know it wouldn't last if I had stayed myself and I don't want to change, the rest of my friends really like me for who I am, but I am still trying to deal with it. Sometimes she appears in my dreams and we are reuniting and I feel like my past is haunting me. I hope it'll get better
Ty. Literally 2 hours ago I lost a semi-big group of friends for an action I wasn’t proud of, and now I’m alone again. It’s hard because 4 of them were ones that got me through my depression, but now I don’t have them anymore. Guilt is eating me alive, so this helped ease the pain. I feel so bad for this girl in my grade. Last year I was so close with this friend group, that was lasting for about 5 years. I always didn’t feel a real connection with them because we would always get into fights even though I did nothing wrong, they would always call me a lair, mean, etc. But since I’m a sensitive person and a people pleaser it was hard. But this one girl would always tell me that they weren’t the right people but I never believed her. This other girl always sat with us at tables but we wouldn’t really talk to her. Now, I’m out of that friendship and I’m actually very relived, I felt controlled, and scared of them. I’m best friends with both of those people and I could never be happier.

This really helped…I Had a lot of good friends, Best friends and we all sat at a lunch table together and one by one each one left to go to this one table. First one left because she kept leaving me out of things and she left to go see her theater friends, then one left because the first girl broke her leg and she needed help carrying her things and she told me “I like that table, I wanna stay there” then then 2 girls sat at a different table (not the one the other two went to) and one sat there first and invited the other to sit there and then they permanently sat there. So my other friend, was offered to sit there by the second friend and she sat there and she also loved it there and said she wants to stay there a the table. The last one, the one that said she would be by my side left. I went to Disney and it was a 2 person table and she didn’t wanna be alone at lunch so she said “I’ll sit there until you come back” and promised she would stay. I texted her and she got more quiet. Then when I was in the car I said “So your coming back to our table?” And she said “…” and I was confused then she said “to be honest with you I am staying there” I was completely heartbroken, I lost all of my friends because of that table. I felt like everything was gone and I was very dissapointed because all of the people I cared about in life just dropped me. I felt worthless. But this video did help a lot!

I have a sad story.
So i made this friend on vacation and we were really close. We made so many sand castles and holes at the beach, we texted for a while until he stopped answering me. I kept trying to text him and keep him in my life until I started to tell myself “I don’t even need to be friends with this kid.” So I stopped texting him for like a week, but that phase quickly ended. So I kept texting him and trying to start conversations but I was lucky if I got an “ok,” or “good.” So one day I decided that enough was enough and that I was spending too much time trying to maintain our friendship. So just to make sure we were on the same page I texted him “are we good?” He replied “nuh uh.” So the. I ended it with the right then and there I said back “well ok bye!” And then 5 minutes later I thought I needed to say one last thing. “Nice knowin ya!” And that’s the last thing I’ve said to him.
After that I was really sad because we were really close in person but when I saw this video, i realized we weren’t meant to be friends and that if it was that hard to maintain the friendship, it wasn’t right.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard her say sorry it’s always me resolving the fights or apologizing to her when it was not my fault. I don’t even know how many times I’ve cried because I was overthinking about what I said or did to make her angry at me. Then I apologize and she acts like nothing even happened until she gets mad again. In the past few weeks I haven’t really been talking to her but it’s different than the other times. I’ve been feeling so much lighter without having to worry about keeping up a friendship with her. Then sometimes I want to cry because I feel like I need to be better and talk to her again. I don’t even know anymore. We’ve been best friends since first grade and I don’t know how to feel but this video made me feel a little better.
